Tricky with tools provided but battery works great.
After 2 years of use my battery was lasting only a little more than 1 hour of screen on time and phone was shutting down randomly even at 50 percent remaining battery. Could no longer make it through half the day and I figured i didnt have much to lose with this replacement. I have no experience opening a phone but i was able to do it with this kit after watching a YouTube instructional. My only criticism is that there isnt a proper tool for removing the camera bump glass. Mine shattered easily into 2 pieces while trying to remove with these tools. However, it went back in place after and camera still works perfectly and the cracked glass is concealed by my phone case. Battery life is now incredible and i think my phone can last me at least until i upgrade to the pixel 3 xl.

Finally can keep a charge all day and no early shutdown!
My Nexus 6p would shut down at 60 % . I was sick of being tied to a charger. Most people know by now that early shutdown with the 6p is a real problem. I decided to order and replace the battery. It arrived on time packaged in a cardboard box. You will need an xacto knife and a heat gun. Don't let anyone tell you that you can't do it. If you can watch a video and follow directions you can do it. I've worked on cell phones for 7 or 8 years now and this took me literally 35 minutes. You want to to heat the camera glass enough so that it comes off without breaking. Or just order a new one just in case. Make sure after you remove top and bottom and the screws, you get the back cover off and don't end up under the screen instead. Also use a card of some sort that's durable to get the battery lifted from the strong glue they use. Just be careful, your display flex cable is under the battery and you don't want to rip that. The cable is recessed into a small channel under the battery but I can't stress it enough to be careful. Just don't go jamming the card in there. Work it slowly on each side of the battery and it will come out. After I installed the new battery I turned on phone to the battery at 37%. I put it back together just re-using the adhesive on bottom piece and camera glass and it worked fine. The battery is working great. It has yet to shut down early and feels like having a new phone. Accubatttery is showing great specs but I took a star off because the one I ordered did not have the temp sensor like I thought it did. But other than that I'm very happy with this battery!

Great for a few months, then overheats and won't hold a charge
Samsung Galaxy s7. Worked great for a few months, now barely lasts half the day with moderate use. Drops from 100% to 70% in an hour and a half of constant use, even with just surfing social media with no videos and the screen on medium brightness. As another user has noted, mine also recently (within the past few weeks) started getting very hot in addition to simply not holding a charge anymore. Ampere is showing the internal temp of the phone going from 85 degrees to 105 degrees in a relatively short time frame (about 15-20 minutes), and that's when I'm only using the phone to surf Facebook, not downloading a bunch of stuff or playing games that work the processor extra hard. And these issues occur in areas with a very strong signal/full bars of LTE reception, so this can't be chalked up to weak signal battery drain. The installation kit is also useless, so I had to get the battery professionally installed. I didn't mind at all since it looked like a complex procedure better left to a pro in the first place, but because this battery turned out to suck, I wasted money not only on the battery, but also on the installation, which I'm going to have to pay for AGAIN in addition to buying a new battery. Don't buy this.

Great battery for the price, tools could be better
Good battery for the price. Works like a charm and now my phone battery lasts me around 4 hours screen on time just like when it was new!The only reason I didn't give this 5 stars is because I found the picks were a little too fat. Luckily I play guitar and have some thin picks laying around. The plastic spudger is a bit chunky too, but this tool was a little more useful. The screw drivers and sim ejecting tool are handy and work well, though. As others have mentioned, the battery connector ribbon is a bit too long and doesn't quite lay flat, but doesn't matter too much once you close up your phone anyway. It doesn't seem to affect battery life, charging, or anything so just a minor imperfection. As far as functionality, though, the battery has been great. Just be sure to take your time and watch some videos on how to disassemble the phone. It's honestly not that hard as long as you follow instructions, and way cheaper than buying a new phone, even if you decide to buy a separate tool set from a place like iFixit.

Cute helpful kit if you don't have the tools, but you'll need a couple more tools and prep.
This worked well for replacing my Nexus 6P battery. After replacement I can charge to 100% and seem to have several hours of charge under heavy use which is a huge improvement over the 40 minutes I had before. This kit came with some nice little tools for not that much money that helped a lot, especially the little suction cup thingy which helps separate the back from the screen to get a craft knife in the gap.The guitar picks helped too, but I still needed a craft knife for separating the components first. I also found an old credit card style card was needed to remove the old battery.Make sure you watch a few different videos on how to replace the battery. There are no instructions of any kind in the box. As many recommend online, consider buying some spare case pieces, especially the fragile lens cover, in case you need it. I am a klutz, and surprisingly I didn't break anything though, but your mileage may vary. There was only very minor cosmetic damage after I finished - very small <1mm chips where I first inserted the craft knife - and all of these places are covered by my phone case anyways.
