I love brain quest books. This workbook has questions from various subjects. Great book for your child or student to use in the summer to get ahead for the upcoming school year.

Great work books !

I bought a 1st grade one for my preschooler and this one for my 7 year old 2nd grader. I am reviewing the 4th grade notebook here. My son is gifted and gets some gifted hours at school (which for some reason are always on days off or get canceled). But for him the second grade class is just like daycare and there's not much learning going on. I'm not an educator, nor am I of gifted intelligence, so I don't know how to pick up the slack at home. I bought this two grades up because I thought it could be the educator that I am not and provide some challenge. It's working. The problems are challenging and fun and applicable in the real world. He very much enjoys it. As with the one for my non-gifted daughter, I would say go up at least one grade level because otherwise they may be too simple.

School is still in session, although it’s the summer; my scholar will still need some sort of educational activities to stay on track.

Great for 4th graders and very challenging

Perfect workbook for the summer. Not too difficult so kids can do it on their own and review and practice skills learned at school. I ask my kids to work in their workbook for 1 hour a day during summer break. They don't hate it, so I consider that a WIN in my book!I got the 4th grade book for my kid who is going to 4th grade after the summer. There were topics covered in the book that she had not learned in school yet. So I probably should have gotten the 3rd grade book since it was meant for review and self study.

Must have for homeschooling parents!!
