Pump in one place, inlet somewhere else!
Very few negatives on this pump and they are minor, okay it doesn't come with any attachments like fountain heads (but can be bought separately for about £8) and in comparison to the competition it's cheap. Now been running for a couple of months at about 12hrs/day (on a timer), so can't comment on long term reliability.I'd been a bit ambitious and bought a 6,000 litre/hr pump (very good pump) but was far too big for my size of pond (learning from experience here). Think my pond is around 3,000-4,000 litres and bought this as a replacement.Didn't bother with the rubber feet, cut a paving slab to size, drilled it and then attached the pump using black plastic cable ties. Then put pump in about 3 feet of water. Using it to drive a waterfall and a fountain (as a bypass in case the filter, Jebao, in the line to the waterfall clogs up badly). Slight negative, the 'fountain head' kit didn't come with a universal joint, so if you want your fountain vertical then the pump has to be level - not the fault of the pump!Bigger negative, after about a month the filter on the pump (that's the grey plastic bit in the photos) clogged up with weed. Only solution, get in pond sans trousers (and it's cold and it's quite deep) to lift and clean pump. But not a long term problem. Remove the grey plastic filter (or the black plastic round bit on the end is a push out) and behind you will find the inlet to the pump is threaded. Get an adaptor from the 'fountain kit' attach 1" flexible plastic pipe and screw to the thread on the pump inlet. At the other end buy two small pond plant pots (black plastic with perforations - round or square) and attach open end to open end with black cable ties to form a closed basket, cut a round hole in the base of one plant pot and stick pipe through and you now have a filter on the inlet (I attached the pipe to the basket also with black cable ties). You can now have the pump in one place and the inlet with a filter on it (reachable without having to climb in the pond) in another. For this reason alone this pump is worth 5 stars (my other bigger pump at nearly 3x the price didn't have this feature).Final point, my plant pot filter is buoyant so I tied a large pebble (another black plastic cable tie) around the inlet pipe close to the filter to weight it down. Net result is that the filter sits vertically at the side of the pond, unobtrusive and easy to get at.From memory, delivery was quick as well.

Great little pump
I have been through a few different pumps for my pond and found this to be the best of the lot, however like the others, this does easily get clogged and required cleaning every 2-3 days, however after buying a simple little plastic basket (from B&M about £3) placing the pump inside, then surrounding with spare filter foam, it's run perfectly (with that also giving a little extra filtration). It's been running for about 4 months now without me needing to touch it and losing no power. This might not be necessary for a pond/water feature without fish, however if you have fish in your pond, I'd recommend this pump with the extra couple of steps and it works beyond expectations
