Value for money, excellent construction.
Great value for money, excellent binding and craft quality. It has a great action and has had a guitar set up done on it before it has been shipped. The ranger has a bright booming clear sound quality, great if it is your first time buying a 12 string and good for experienced players.

Good quality for price.
I have been playing guitar for 30 years and never owned a 12 string. Finally got round to purchasing the Eko Ranger and I am pleasantly surprised by the quality of the build and playability of this guitar (got to admit I took a bit of a gamble and was not expecting too much for the price paid!). Despite 12 strings being notorious for tuning problems I am having no such issues with this guitar and can play for hours with minimum adjustment required. Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to add a 12 string to their guitar collection but not wanting to fork out for top of the range guitar.

Terrible! Don’t buy!
After tuning the instrument it was impossible to play. There was fret buzz at the nut end of the fret board but the action at the 12th fret was very high making chording near impossible. I could have lowered the bridge but that would have made the lie end fret buzz worse!! The neck shape was awful it was nearly flat across the whole of the neck with just a radius to the corners. A very poor quality instrument - a great shame as I’ve played some great instruments from China but this wasn’t one of them! AVOID

What's not to like?
Like others, I once owned an Eko Ranger XII back in the early '70s. It was a battleship of a guitar; heavy and bombproof! Roll on the years and I decided (totally on a whim) to buy the guitar that I'd thoroughly enjoyed playing, back in the day. It proved to be a very good decision. The guitar is faultless. It has a lovely finish, an easy action, a bright and resonating tone and it immediately encouraged a broad grin, as I waded through 'Wish You Were Here', 'Hotel California', 'Can't Do That' among others, as a test run. Just wow!Okay, the guitar is made in China but that's no bad things, as the Chinese have finally learnt how to make decent instruments. Quality control is spot on for the model received. The action was set to perfection straight out of the box and intonation also. There are no finish blemishes or paint runs, over-sprays or anything that detracts from owning and playing this lovely 12-string. It even arrived more or less in tune!I have many guitars in the collection, including Gibson, Gretsch, Epiphone and Fender but this Eko joins their rank. Others have, unfairly in my opinion, based their reviews on the Eko guitars of 40 or 50 years ago. This is based upon a great Eko Ranger VII acoustic from 2020 and I think it's a winner in many respects. The price, the looks, the sound and the feel give it top marks.

It for me has always had a great natural accoustic 12string sound
My EKO Ranger 12S is not new, but was second hand in late 1960's when I bought it.... It was my main gigging instrument for many years and gave me many memorable musical experiences.... Sadly, it is now just a relic of my itinerent musical 'heyday'..... it sits as a vintage display guitar, virtually unplayeable as the bridge has been splitting and coming away from the top for 20 years..... due to years of using too heavy a gauge strings ... the top is bowed and consequently now very difficult to tune. It for me has always had a great natural accoustic 12string sound.... If you can get one - especially a vintage one - go for it - just check the neck is straight, the bridge has no cracks of warps, and use the screws on the bridge to adjust the action ..... I paid £50 for mine in late 1960's....

Guitare 12 cordes

Adesso è perfetta e maneggevole in modo incredibile.

Bonne guitare
