The media could not be loaded. It really does go the distance as they claim! I put it on a folding plastic table and even have a table cloth on the table and it goes right through it.They give you extra velcro and a super cool device to detect the strongest point, which I included in a video. As I dont have a gauge for determining the charge rate, I can not comment on that, but since every other statement is true, and they are VERY thorough, ill have to assume it really puts out the power!

The included 20W USB adapter was dead on arrival, producing no output. Therefore the product can't operate with the included hardware. Very poor quality control.

This was easy to install and works pretty well. It was a little tricky to find the right position for the top pad, took me a couple of tries. The first time, I thought I had it properly placed, but when I tried to charge my phone, it charged VERY slowly and got quite hot. So, I repositioned the pad and now it charges better and only gets a little warm. First photo shows how it looks on my nightstand's top. The second and 3rd photos are of my side-by-side test with my old charging pad. In the first photo, you can see the phone is at 13% and estimating 4 hours to fully charge on the old pad. The second photo, on this pad, shows a 2.5 hour estimate from 13%, so this charger is much faster than my old one. 4th photo is what the under-table portion looks like.I installed it using the adhesive Velcro pads that came already on it, and that seems to be plenty stable. It includes mounting screws if you want a more permanent installation. It also comes with adhesive/Velcro cable guides so you can keep your cable out of the way and view, which was a nice touch.Only knocking off a star because of the uncertainty involved in perfectly placing the table-top pad. I'm still not sure I have it perfectly placed, but it's working.

This is a piece of junk. I’ve had it for about 3 days and it already stopped working. It is installed on 24mm particle board, well within parameters. I made a point of keeping the area clear of any other items to ensure there would be no interference. I placed my phone on it today and noticed it wasn’t charging. Upon further inspection I saw that the led on the charger was indicating that there was a foreign object present (blinking blue light), but there was nothing within two feet of the charger, let alone anything metal which would effect the device. I unplugged it for about an hour to let it reset and now it is completely dead, no led, no charging, even the included detector is not picking anything up….. DO NOT BUY!

Ordered this thinking it would be a nice gadget to have and put someplace and just be able to set my phone down and bam! It starts charging.My first issue was finding a place to put it. Wasn't able to put on the kitchen or bathroom counters, due to not being able to hide the cord. The coed would be stretched across and sitting on the counter. I already have a great charger on my night stand. So couldn't figure out where to use it. I ended up installing it at work on our front counter where I spend most of my time. It did turn out to be a great spot for it.The charger was super easy to install. I was worried the counter top was to thick but the charger was able to transfer power through it. To install, I used the included adhesive velcro strips. Stuck the power part of the charger under the counter. The adhesive is strong and had no problems with it falling off. Then I lined up the top circle piece of the charger on top. There is a little power detector light included, you use it to line up the circle piece to the power piece. As your moving the light around trying to find the right spot, the light turns blue. It gets brighter the closer you get to the best position to place the circle base.So after installing is when my 2nd issue occurred. I thought I would just be able to put my phone on the circle base and walk away. Unfortunately doesn't work that way for me. I have to move my phone around to get it lined up right to start charging.The 3rd issue I have and is the main reason I gave 3 stars. It is not fast charging. It actually charges pretty slow compared to my other fast chargers. First time using, put my phone on and lined it up to charge. I was at 5% and my phone showed the time estimate for a full charge at over 2 hours. This could be due to the counter thickness, but the blue light was shining at its brightest when I was finding the best spot to put the base. The instructions stated the brighter the light, the stronger the power source.If this charger was fast charging , I easily can give 4- 4.5 stars, and if I didn't have to spend time lining up my phone to charge, it's a 5 star charger. It just didn't turn out to be as cool as I was thinking it would be.
