I am so happy I decided to buy those! I struggle with coloured pecnils in general as I am rarely happy with the finish I get and the colours are too garish - but those can spread just like paint and the slightly muted colours are very beautiful and unique.They are perfect for using with watercolours, or just by themselves, and they look great when used dry or when wet (which makes the colour much more vivid) . The set of 12 has a really good selection of shades, although I slithtly regret not buying the larger box to get all the colours, as I love them and use them a lot.

Supplied in a blister pack and impeccably packed for safe transit, these elegant pencils come already sharpened to a reasonable point given the thickness of the cores. Derwent Graphitint pencils are excellent for botanical art or northern hemisphere landscapes. The muted water soluble colours are beautiful and very unique.

These are easy to use with a lovely range of soft earthy colours. When you add water you get a lovely rich quality to your work. When dry your drawings and illustrations have a graphite shine.Really enjoyed working with these and bought the little palette of Graphitint half pans to go with them.

the colours looks very natural, I tried different pencils and strokes, I want to use them for backgrounds and seems to be perfect this purpose

Just started back into drawing and painting in the last year from 30 plus years ago.I tend to gravitate towards watercolour with varying degrees of success - these pencils really inspire me to paint more and try new techniques.The colours are beautiful when blended with water( I love the blues and russets ) and I find them easy to use.Will definitely purchase again.

Not value for money, it’s expensive because of the brand. Try other brands which is equally as good.

If you require subdued yet defined colour, with these, you’ve found it. A worthy addition to any artistic creation using graphite.
