This set of garden tools is decent quality (with the exception of the pruning shears which are very cheaply made and basically junk). The shovels, trowel, and weed-puller are well made and seem durable enough for the casual or hobby gardener. I expect they will last a few seasons.Due to several medications I take (side-effects are occasional dizziness) I can't bend down too often or for extended periods of time. I thought these would be a good solution. I didn't want anything too heavy, they're just for use in a little flower garden I have beside my porch.The handles don't extend as far as I would like. You can't add more than one extension to a tool so you end up with a handle that is about 3/4 the size of what would be considered "regular" or "normal" length, so you still have to do a fair amount of bending and stooping. I really wish you could add a second extension to make them longer but it's not possible.The tools themselves are sturdy enough. I'm not sure how well they would hold up to extended rough use but they're fine for puttering around.Overall I think it's a nice set of gardening tools for a fair price.

I purchased these because I have a terraced back yard with 2 terraced planting beds that are quite deep and since the bottom one comes to my waist, I needed something to extend my reach to get to the pesky weeds that seem to flourish more than my plants do once they get water. These tools are exactly what I needed. They extend my reach so that I can get under the roots of the weeds with the trowels to work them up, then the claw snags them and helps me pull them completely out of the flowerbeds. Having an extra pair of pruning shears was also a great bonus. I will say that there is a slight wobble in the handles when you're using them, but they don't come apart when you're in the thick of battle with the weeds, which is why I gave them four stars. I'm not sure if the wobble will get worse over time, but for now, regardless of the wobble, these are EXACTLY what I needed to get my flowerbeds under control and the weeds out of sight!

These tools have been great save for one of the shovels breaking after first use. Other commenters have had a similar experience, but not everyone has. I suspect there is a quality issue in production that needs to be looked into. So, beware.Other than the above issue, these have been working great for me. The extension handles are a god send.

The tools are steel that is sturdy and rust-proof. I already have short gardening tools, so I wanted the extended tools. I assembled the extension with ease. The total extended tools are about 2 feet long, and I don’t have to bend over to use garden tools. “The red pruner works well to cut off the branches or weeds. Overall, the garden tools set is a good value and the item description was accurate.
