Purchased for: ACER ASPIRE V5-552I’m not really sure why teenagers and electrical leads are incompatible 🤷‍♀️ They are so careless and as a result I’m regularly buying leads.In honesty I’ve been buying most through PC World/Currys and they charge an extortionate price. But, I’ve heard nothing except glowing reviews from friends to purchase via Amazon.So, here I am buying a laptop lead. I thought it would be complicated, but it was extremely simple. I popped in my laptop make and model in the search bar and I immediately found what I was looking for, then chose based on ratings.My first reaction was shock! I’ve been paying £49.99 to PC World and this is half the price.It arrived next day and well packaged and looking at the lead in comparison to the one previously from PC World appears to be identical quality.It fitted perfectly and the laptop switched on immediately and charged quickly. It’s now been over a week and it works just like the original lead.My oldest son in his 30’s who’s very clued up on these things checked it for me and I even got his seal of approval.100% recommended. I’m extremely happy and grateful of the huge saving. Thank you.

I like the design of the adapter. It looks robust, no funny noises while operating and it works well without failure for 2 months now.

I bought this charger to replace the one from my Acer Aspire V5-573P. Service was great, next day delivery with Amazon Prime, well packed and presented.My original charger was 65W and used to run rather warm. This one being 90W runs much cooler, which is better and I hope will contribute for a longer life cycle of the unit.The only small observation is the lack of "power ON" indicator which can be a useful feature, especially when plugging it in unfamiliar sockets when on the move.

Couldn't find any information on this in my search, but my concerns about the connector colour (this being yellow and my old one being blue) were unjustified.Works just fine. (As long as you match connector type ofc).Cable is a little on the thinner side compared to my last one. Will update if breaks.

What can I say? The product arrived very quickly, properly packaged and clean. It works perfectly and I am very pleased with the price I paid.

I replaced a cheap charger for one I can rely on.

I bought this as a replacement for my original Acer power adapter, which lasted 6 yrs and then failed suddenly without warning. DTK replacement adapter arrived promptly and worked charging up the low laptop battery quickly. All in all, a good replacement product at a very reasonable price. Only slight criticism is the moulding on the end of the thick kettle lead isn't tight in the charger box socket and is quite easy to pull out accidentally. Just need to keep an eye on it or put a small piece of tape over it. Not a significant problem. Still very pleased. Hope it lasts as long as original.
