Wisper Silent & Easy Cable Management
I recently upgraded to the Corsair RM850x SHIFT, and honestly, the side-mounted connectors are such a smart design. If you’ve ever struggled with plugging in cables in tight cases or near the bottom of your PC, you’ll appreciate how much easier this layout makes everything. Cable management was way cleaner, and it actually gave me more space to work with inside the case.Performance-wise, it’s rock solid. 850W is plenty of power for my setup, and everything has been running super stable. The unit is also really quiet — the fan barely kicks in, even under load, and when it does, it’s still whisper-quiet.Build quality is what you’d expect from Corsair — sturdy, premium feel, and comes with all the cables you need. Modular design means you only use what you need, keeping the build neat and airflow-friendly.If you're building a new PC or upgrading, the SHIFT is 100% worth considering. It’s not just about power — it’s about convenience and clean aesthetics, too.

Installation a breeze
Great power supply with side mounted connections to make cable routing easier. The unit is very quiet even when under load and appears to be good quality. The cables are non standard smaller connections but the unit does come with everything you require and additional cables can be bought if needed. Makes it much easier to install the power supply in a cramped case as there is no need to struggle trying to fit cables behind the power supply as it can be done with far side panel removed and then just easily plugged in.

Great affordable A grade 1200w Power Supply
I purchased this power supply after spending a week reviewing numerous power supplies online. This PSU is listed as a tier A high end power supply on cultist reviewsI had recently upgraded my GPU to a 7900xtx and my Seasonic prime 850w could no longer handle the power demands put upon it so needed to upgrade.Due to supply shortages and high prices in the UK currently I decided to go for a cheaper option and so far I am glad I chose this power supply. My first choice would have been a platinum or titanium rated Seasonic supply but this gold rated supply from Corsair is still impressive for the price.Another benefit this PSU has is that it supports the new ATX 3.0 standard and comes with the new 12vhpc cable for when I need to upgrade my current GPU. The unit also comes with enough PCIe cables for any GPU requirement. Mine uses 3x cables. You get 6x cables total with 2x being able to daisy chain with but I don’t recommend you do that and instead use the 4x single 6/8pin cables instead. The unit fits nicely into my PC case without issue however my case is very large. It’s a cooler master cosmos s2 case. Had this awesome case for nearly a decade now.I am very happy with the build quality and the unit is extremely quiet with my PC under full load.I would highly recommend this power supply if your on a budget but you do need to make sure it will fit in your case first as cables are on the side of the unit.

Good engineering
Great power supply. The cable heads are different on two sides so it is impossible to plug them the wrong way. I did that with another power supply and spent several days troubleshooting. Usability of this one is great.

Great PSU. Not so great price.
The cost of PSU's much like GPU's is kinda crazy right now. However if you need something to drive those expensive GPU's you are going to require a decent PSU and this one is no exception. I cannot vouch for its efficiency but it is quiet and very easy to install. The side cable (thus its name 'SHIFT') is a great idea if your case has plenty of space to hide it behind. The PCI 3.0 spec was the other reason I purchased this PSU so I could have only one 12VHPWR cable connected to my brand new RTX 4080 Super and whilst not the most attractive looking cable at least it's better than the 3 into 1 adapter supplied with the card. I might get a fancy braided cable later on if it bothers me but right now it does the job it is intended to.

Brilliant psu
Wanted a 1200w for a moddern set up to manage new cpu mb and gpu with no effort.Very stable after having it for over 3 month's and its very quite to the point you cant hear it spin up the fan even under load.Comes with all cables necessary with the new 12 pin gpu power cable included. As for the temps. Its very cool even when pulling over 600w even 700 peaks with stable fan curves to match noise to performance values.Great item for the price and well worth it, highly recommend it to anyone seaking a robust psu.

Perfect for powering high end builds
Powers my 4080super fine and stays quiet. The side connecting cables keep cable management clean, feels very high quality and I've had no issues even after power cuts and crashes.

SOLID BUILD - A FIVE ✨ QUALITY
Had a 500W Seasonic PSU before this CORSAIR RM-1000 SHIFT and this looks more cleaner and tight looks. This PSU has the industry standard 80 plus GOLD whereas the old SEASONIC PSU didn't have any 80 plus standard because that's how old the PSU was. It runs cooler and quieter than the SEASONIC and some might say overkill because I just need a 500W so, thumbs up from me.My electric bill is still the same.size wise, I have a GIGABYTE 3D AURORA case It fits in (not really) but I can only manage to fit two screws to secure the PSU and and it's not secure and I cant fit my door because the Type 5 cables from the PSU are protruding , so I need a new case effectively.
