Probably more effective as an indoor deterrent
They are pretty solid and require a decent amount of force to crack, so whatever launcher you use better pack a punch. They are quite strong and even being around the dust inside will make you sneeze and drip. However, I feel like if you were using them in an outdoor environment, they might not be as effective as they disperse quickly, you’d really have to go for a solid head shot and hope the ball cracks and the powder sticks; if you were to hit soft clothing like a hoodie or pants, the ball might not break and even if it did the proximity to the nose eyes and mouth might not be sufficient to affect an effective effect

Far more durable and potent than BYRNA pepper projectiles
I found out about Duke defense from a law enforcement buddy and man these PAVA projectiles are exactly what I needed. You definitely don't want to be on the receiving end of these Duke PAVA PROJECTILES.

Not very strong
The more expensive versions have to be more effective. I shot at areas in the attic where I know something keeps moving around. I plastered 10 rounds above and in the past area and they just walk through the dust, lick it off their feet and keep going like it's flour. Don't buy this one, maybe another source for .68 caliber pepper balls for pest control. I've tried everything else with the exception of just flicking a match. I didn't want a match, I want my house back.

little pricey
A little pricey, for no more than what I got, overall quality not too bad however be very careful when loading!! I have the HDX shotgun loaded them and one cracked while loading in the tube they’re a little more fragile than you think!

Too Expensive
The product itself is fine, but for the small quantity it is way too expensive. Need to do better Duke on your quantity to cost value ratio for us consumers trying to use a less lethal product for self defense than the alternative.
