What type of hearing loss do these hearing aids support?

The Sony OTC hearing aids are medical devices used to treat adults 18 and older with perceived mild to moderate hearing loss in both ears. They are not for individuals with severe to profound hearing loss.

Can these be set-up on iOS & android and stream music and phone calls?

Sony | Hearing Control app, which is used to set up the Sony CRE-C10 OTC hearing aids, is compatible with Apple iOS 15 or higher or Android OS 11 or higher devices. Streaming of media or phone call audio (iOS only) is only supported by Sony CRE-E10

What kind of support is available if I need help with my hearing aids?

Sony has extensive FAQs & instructional videos available (see above) . There is also live in-depth troubleshooting and support by the Sony Hear Team through Sony, specially trained experts to ensure success with any pre or post purchase questions.

Can the hearing aid be customized?

The Sony | Hearing Control app is used to set up the Sony OTC hearing aids. A Hearing Profile Check, is completed so the devices and app can set initial settings. After that, you can additionally customize your sound level and quality in the app.

Are these rechargeable?

No. The Sony CRE-C10 OTC hearing aids use a disposable, size 10 zinc air battery that delivers up to 70 hours of continuous use. The Sony CRE-E10 OTC hearing aids with the wireless charging case, allows power with up to 26 hours of continuous use.

Well worth the money, don't tell them shhhh

These are great,I figured if I could get an OTC (Over The Counter) pair and save some money when it came time to replace them, than why not try.I went with the SONY brand as i have trusted their products for years, and Amazon USUALLY has an easy and fair return policy, so I bought them and I am so happy I did, after some on phone app adjustments, they work better than expected. These work flawlessly and battery lasts approximately for 18-20 hours of use before rechargingIt is definitely money well spent, and for a grumpy old man (that's me) to say that, it takes a lot to please me enough to write a review

FINALLY I'm hearing a more balanced sound of the world around me.

My Sony hearing aids, which I've had going on 3 years now, I always had to adjust them to keep from feeling like my ears were isolated to just the devices. I didn't realize they came with the closed vent rubber tips. So I was using the smallest size to hear more ambient sound. Eventually one came off and got stuck in my ear a while back and I had to go to the ER to have it removed. So, lesson learned- mine were getting weak after 2 and a half years they were coming off easily due to my constant adjusting. Now I learned Sony makes the rubber fittings vented, and I've installed these and my hearing aids are perfect. I can hear more of a mix of the ambient sound in addition to the amplified sound from the hearing aid. Plus I'm using the right size now for my ear. Kudos to Sony for improving the longevity of their products.

Impressive!

I tried another major brand in office for $7,200 but I felt like my left ear was filled with water. The Sony has a vented small sleeve that relieved that sensation. So I hear much better with these and the price was much cheaper! The phone app worked easily to customize them for me. I am happy now that my hearing has improved so much and for a mere fraction of the other pair. The above photo shows how they fit inside the ear canal. Thankfully I don't have to have big units behind my ears.

Not really any other Choices Available

These tips work great on my hearing aids, but like the headline says....not any additional choices available to choose from, and definitely a revenue stream for Sony....but whatcha goin' to do? You have to have these when it's time to change out the tips. I don't like paying what they cost for what I would assume is literally less than $2 in material (the packaging probably exceeds the cost of the actual product), but if you wear this particular hearing aid, your (and my) hands are tied.Buy them with confidence, however, as the quality is good and luckily they last for a while before needing to be replaced.
