One of my favourite cartoons growing up. Decided to gift the box set to my nieces so that they too can enjoy the family friendly and intriguing storylines. Am looking forward to watching it with them!! One for All, and All for One!! 🤓

I had no idea season 2 existed and could not make it past 5 minutes of episode 1. I will not have my memories of Dogtanian sullied with this. By all accounts the movie is the last 5 episodes of season 2 strung together so I'll skip that.I'm happy with the original season 1, which brought back many memories. I realize watching this now that Cardinal Richelieu was clearly an inspiration for Mr Burns.

I was so excited when I saw that this was released on DVD and when I watched it, it brought back so many childhood memories. Its really well drawn and the characters are amusing making it a very enjoyable series to watch.This set comprises of Season one and season two as well as the movie. It is spread over 9 discs and they fit well in the case, provided you put them back in the right way!The quality of the image is actually quite high - it's a bit grainy in places but this *is* a series of 30 years ago!!If you want your childhood memories back of watching it in the summer holidays and you want something easy for you as an adult and any children you may have, this is perfect. I recommend it.

All I can say about this is it brings back such lovely memories of my youth, wonderful dvd set!

2 discs, 2 series and if I could give two different ratings I would.We bought this after watching Series 1 on YouTube (I recommend doing this as it is all there). We saw there was a second series but it was all in a foreign language on YouTube so bought this disc.The second series is not as good as the first. The animations are different, the voices are different and it did not have the same viewing experience. I think the theme tune was also changed which ruined the build up to the episode. Such a shame, although my children enjoyed it enough to watch it all. I didn't, so the actual stories might have been okay.The first series, however, is wonderful. It took me back to my childhood and was still enjoyable as an adult. It also lead to us talking about the musketeers and was quite educational. It was more violent than I remembered, Dogtanian seems to fight everyone over anything at all! It probably wouldn't make it on tv today.I would recommended buying this if you can't find all of series 1 on YouTube. My 3 and 5 year olds enjoyed it, as did I. Don't have high expectations for series two though.

What a fantastic boxset dogtanian has it all i had forgotten how good it was brilliant storylines presented in a nice case with loads of extras if your a collector this is for you all for under £10 .//// i had to edit this as ive just got up to series 2 why why why !!!!!!!!! I never saw series 2 by the time 1990 came around i was more interested in girls and cider if changing the theme tune and voices wasnt bad enough the animation is awful !! Its still a good boxset though series 1 is that good well worth £10 the kids love it so gotta watch it now .
