Best purchase I've made
I had trouble with my car, water leaking, cold air blowing within the car etc, so I changed this complete unit which took around 1 hour to get old one off and new one on. Since fitting i have no more leaks and I now have warmth back in the car. Best purchase I've made. Garage would have charged hundreds to fit this.

Perfect fit
The breather hose is a tight fit, into the top of the housing,i had to wet it for it to fit properly

Fits ok but arrived broken clip
Fitted housing and went well, seems to fit ok although as stated previous review the plastic seems more fragile than genuine, went to connect small coolant pipe and the clip is broken, only option I had was to remove whole unit and return as couldn’t message seller to get replacement clip. So unfortunately iv got to locate a plastic clip or remove and return whole unit.I’m sure it’s not a common issue and product seems great for the price as no leak as yet from original fault. But as said if could improve I would say allow direct messages to seller.

Lasted about 8 months
Bought as I needed next day delivery on a bank holiday weekend. It works as it should but the plastic seems lower quality than the more expensive thermostat housing units. It's a suitable short-term fix but developed a leak within about 8 months of fitting. If you've got a car that's on its last legs and you just want to get a few more months out of it then it's worth it, otherwise buy a better one.I bought this as a temporary fix so for me it served its purpose.
