Around the World in 80 Cocktails

Bought this as a Christmas present for my husband who wanted to experiment more with the cocktails. Since we travelled a lot I figured it would serve as a fun memento to a few drinks we’ve had abroad. Absolutely love the history facts attached to either specific ingredients found in the cocktail, how the name came to be, or alcohol fun fact about that country. Some of the drinks have unique ingredients that you may not use often but are still fun to try, so that’s the only downfall (refer to pic of Martinez drink). A recommended in-text substitution would help but that’s nothing a quick Google search can’t fix. The cover is also really pretty and makes for a fun conversation piece. Very happy with the purchase overall.

Love this little book! The artwork and history is fantastic. My husband and I are making one new cocktail every month and stocking up our bar cart with things we never heard of for drinks so delicious you wouldn't believe possible.

The media could not be loaded.  Fantastic book! I bought it as a gift for my husband. The recipes are easy to follow (and delicious), and there are a few in here that I don’t think you’ll find anywhere else! The background info for each cocktail is phenomenal and the illustrations are gorgeous! The maps on the inside covers are a particularly nice touch too.

Creative book with yummy “sound sing” recipes. The only downside is that most of the recipes have really unique ingredients that you’d never have handy or want to invest in.

Would highly recommend for anyone that loves cocktails!

I got this book as a Christmas gift for a friend. The book is beautiful! Very vibrant illustrations and really fun and well rounded descriptions of each of the places it mentions. Recipes are straightforward. I’m almost jealous I didn’t get it for myself.

The artwork is outstanding and it has inspired us to try cocktail recipes we would otherwise have overlooked.

I gave this as a gift and I believe it is amazing for someone who wants to learn more about cocktails!

Smaller than I expected but the quality is amazing wasn’t expecting the fabric feel but I love it! Bought as a gift for my dad he will love this

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my daughter who loves making cocktails. She was thrilled with the book. The cocktails are easy to follow and there are plenty of tips in the book for making great cocktails. The book is excellent quality and the illustrations are very attractive.I would recommend this book as an excellent stocking filler or birthday gift.

Illustrations are beautiful. Great background text for each cocktail- it's got all the main ones plus some fun extras. Easy instructions. Look no further than this book, it makes a great gift and looks more expensive than it is.
