Though the water has been deemed safe to drink based on tests I've conducted, it contains high levels of iron and often emits a sulphur smell.To address this issue, I've been using a Brita filter jug for my drinking water. However, I found it inconvenient and decided to invest in a new water filter. The installation process for the new filter was straightforward, and it came with all the necessary components, including an adapter for different hose sizes, which was essential for my setup. I placed the filter under the sink, on the opposite side from the other hoses, to ensure easy access for replacements and due to the existing hoses in that area.I was pleased to find that the water not only appeared clearer and tasted better but also maintained its pressure, with the added bonus of eliminating the sulphur smell. Given the sediment and other factors in well water, I anticipate needing to replace the filter more frequently than the recommended timeframe.Overall, I'm impressed by the quality and professionalism of this filter and feel that it offers great value for the money. Additionally, as a brewer of kombucha, I look forward to producing clearer and better-tasting batches. After having a good experience with an iSpring reverse osmosis system at my last house, I went straight to iSpring's line of products for an undersink carbon filter and was not disappointed. You can tell they care about their customers and their reputation by the high quality instructions, ease of installation, and inclusion of all bonus parts and adapters you might possibly need. The construction and materials seem to be relatively high quality as well, and it does a great job improving the water's taste. No noticeable decrease in water pressure.

My apratment gets chlorinated municipal water. And I used to use another brand under-sink water filter but it was never long-lasting and tends to get blocked in 2-3 months. Thus I decided to try iSpring water filter system. The installation process was straightforward. To my surprise, water tasted way better than before, maintaining flow and pressure. It was so easy to install on my cold water line and had no problem at all. I am a 67 years old women that has knowledge and handy around house with tools it was a piece of cake to install it. Ran the cold water for 10 minutes after I installed to make sure I had clear running water then I had a glass of fresh filtered water that was good tasting water from the filter system. Should have put one in a long time ago if I knew it was going to be this easy to install and have great tasting water from home.

It’s okay for cooking and making tea if you’re gonna boil it but not great for tap drinking water

It is a pleasure to know that my water filter is clearing the drinking water taste great along with the fact that it is filtering out all the unsuitable elements that we are forced to drink in tap water. We use this filter for daily drinking water, and filling up our coffee pot each morning. We are very happy with the quality this unit provides. It is easy to install and the filter lasts longer than other filters. Most important, it save more under sink space.
