Great bike for the price
The bike looks nice. Gloss black fenders and the frame I would say is a dark gun metal grey with flakes. And white with flakes. By flakes I mean sun reflects off the flakes in the paint. Nice color. The frame being aluminum makes the bike very light. For the price the parts on the bike are good. For me I will be upgrading some things. The brake pads do not work well so will be upgrading those. Seat is nice but probably will get a better one for long rides. Will be getting better tires. Derailer, shifter was out of adjustment so had to adjust that. Had to adjust brakes. Had to install front tire, handlebars, fenders, pedals. need some metric tools to do the job. Metric allen wrenches. Metric wrenches. If you do not know how to to do these things have a bike shop do it. But it is not hard to learn. Many YouTube videos showing how to perform adjustments and maintenance. But bike shops will do it for you for a reasonable cost and make sure everything is adjusted and all bolts and nuts are tight.. I am 6'3" and 250lbs. Bought it to ride and get in shape. Bike is comfortable to me and fits me. It fits taller riders well. Maybe a little tall for really short people.Over all happy with this purchase especially because of the nice frame and good looks of the bike. If I have to upgrade a few things overtime I will be very happy still.Nice cruiser bike with 7 speeds and fenders for under $200.Good buy.Took it for my shakedown ride. About 5 miles. Hilly area. Glad it has 7 speeds. Unless you have totally flat ground like beach paths to ride on I would get a cruiser with gears. Unless you like pushing up hills.

Best riding bike I have ever owned.
I have owned this bike for 2 months, and have ridden it a lot. My favorite past time. It is a very comfortable bike to ride. Partly due to the excellent seat it comes with. Most bikes need a aftermarket seat installed. Not this one. And I am no small guy. I am 6' 2" and 270 pounds. The 7 speed gears have really come in handy for the small hills. You will not regret buying this bike. I have not. I bought it because of the great reviews I read about it, so now there will be one more great review for future buyers. MINE. P.S. I gave assembly 5 stars, but it does take some time because of the excellent way it comes packed. Allow at least 30-45 minutes just to unwrap this bike. It was worth the effort because there was not a dent or scratch on it.

Excellent value
The packaging was ok. The box was damaged, but there were some guards strategically placed to prevent damaging the bike, which was nice. Like others have mentioned, the decals are bubbly and were not applied with care, but they don't look bad enough for me to go to the trouble of removing them. The assembly was pretty easy as the bike was mostly assembled out of the box. The instructions covered multiple models and configurations, but if you know what you're putting together, the instructions are good. To my surprise, the derailleur didn't need any adjustments and shifted fine out of the box. My biggest gripe is the brakes - they're very ineffective. Plan your stops! I will probably be upgrading the brake pads. The seat could be more comfortable too. Otherwise, I really like this bike! It's light, comfortable, smooth, and very good looking. For the price, it's an excellent value

Bad quality.
On the first ride out the back tire popped out of the rim causing a crash. The pressure was fine. The tire was defective. Save your money.

Not so fantastic, sorry to say.
We were very excited with these bikes; they are very pretty and fun to ride. Unfortunately, we had to return both of them due to manufacturing defects. One bike’s rear derailleur’s second gear had one tooth that was twisted and bent so that the chain would ride up and skip. The other bike’s crank had a grinding sound as if it wasn’t lubricated.Amazon recommended that I contact the manufacturer before returning the bike. The phone rep was sort of helpful until he suggested that he would send me a new rear derailleur to replace the defective one. Just how does this help me? The tools needed for that replacement are unique and they would not pay for a shop to do it. I had to return the bike by UPS in the original carton. I am so lucky I had room on my back porch to save the box for several weeks.I didn’t even mention to the phone rep about the second bike. I’m just super lucky that Amazon was out of lady’s bikes so I bought it on T@rget dot com. All I had to do is roll it into the store to return it.So, my lesion is I will never buy another bike on Amazon. If I buy a bike online it will be from an “brick and mortar” store that has an outlet in my town, like T@rget or K0hls.One other thing about this bike is that the brakes are cheap. The calipers are not adjustable. They have a single spring . Also, the pads are not good quality and so they squeak and wear down like pencil erasers. I noticed this during assembly and planned on popping $50 for better brakes later on.I wouldn’t say the assembly was easy especially with the non-existent assembly instructions. Note also there is no suspension so the ride is a little bumpy. I didn’t care that the decals were wrinkled but all these little details added together made me decide to pay a little more for our new replacement bikes.

Great Boardwalk Cruiser Bike
I am pleased at the quality of the bike vs the price point. Also very satisfied with the customer service rep who quickly sent to me a replacement part under warranty that I received 3 days after I called. This is a great looking bike from a reputable company. The bike performs well and is lightweight which makes it easier to transport to the beach in my SUV. I would buy a Kent product again.

Could be a 5 star.
Box arrived in good shape. When unboxing bike, found missing break pads on both front and rear break assembly. Cables for gear shift was crimped. Rear fender has micro scratches on it so it not real shiny. Had to adjust both breaks out of box with replacement pads no contact between pads and rim. Just not the quality product I was expecting. Had purchased 2 different bikes for me and my wife. Hers came in a few day before and was simple set up and all patrs were there. So just disappointing that this bike had missing parts and more assembly steps..
