Rommelsbacher RK501 Automatic Travel Hot Plate

I am in agreement with the earlier review, this travel hot plate is small but mighty. It heats up very quickly and boiled a small saucepan of water in no time at all. It is compact but with good build quality. Only suggestion for any future design changes would be to move the setting dial as this is difficult to access if you want to turn down the heat during cooking (you would be advised to remove the saucepan to one side, adjust and then replace), also there is no LED to let you know it is on (obviously it gets hot so that is a big give away but better to see it is on than touch it and find out). Overall I am very pleased with this product. I have ordered the bag and the pot separately from the same supplier (Wayfair) who were extremely efficient and helpful with both the original order and my follow up request.

Doing great so far the missus wanted this to heat up her syphon coffee maker thing as getting me to replace it with an electric one wasn't going to happen. Now she's got this she buzzing like a goodun.

I was looking to get a hotplate to fit my coffee maker and this is it. Really fast and really well made. An indicator light would have made it perfect.

Excellent hot plate for my stove-top coffee maker. Quick, small and practical. Only one complaint. You have to be very diligent about unplugging it after. There is no light and you can forget its on.

A fabulous product. I use this with my mocha at work to have a proper coffee... An excellent product and easy to use and keep clean

Works as described and is a compact design easy to travel with, varying temperatures to heat almost any size pan.

This thing is AMAZING!!!!. It has saved my life on countless trips when I have been unable to eat the food available due to my personal dietary requirements.
