Will this staple a ribbon to a carpet edge?

Hi I have just goven it a go on an ofcut of carpet and a piece of ribbon and yes the stapler is strong enough to do it but the actual staples were not strong enough . These were just ordinary staples that you would use on paper or card .

It is 6.5mm from the centre of the staple to the foremost part of the stapler, the front of the anvil. You could probably reduce this to 3mm by filing away the anvil (don't know how hard it is) but you might need to use the stapler a bit skewed

Hello can I use this for fabric?

Hi this really works like a normal stapler that staples paper or in floristry leaves or ribbon, it might work on fabric if it is hard enough

What size staples does this need for the whole 45 pages it says it can deal with? It says it takes so many but none seem longer than usual.

This is a great stapler I love it. I just tried it on 45 pages with the staples I have 24/6mm (No16) I dont know what other sizes go in this stapler, the staples gave a strong secure fixing. I should think it depends on the thickness of the paper the one I used was light weight I tried it on printer paper and it went thru but not enough to hold paper together. This stapler doesnt like other makes of staples.
