No it shouldn’t used on geothermal loop that had small leak and it didn’t harm the pumps but I had large volume of water in loop you should calculate how much water is in system and you might not need to use hole bottle of sealant

Q: Will this stop leaks in PEX piping used for infloor heat in concrete slab?

We have used it once on a geothermal closed loop field. Thus it seemed to have worked with HDPE pipe. I know pex polyethelene tubing has different properties so the manufacturer of the tubing or product being sold may know better but as long as the manufacturer says it's safe for pex it may be worth a try.
