Not true to size, if you don't have a sewing machine and want to put work into it, don't purchase this.I expected a very basic item, but the elastic on one side broke on the second use. The bottom is slightly shorter than the top. The bars just make no sense at all, but now are unusable since I had to sew new elastic on just to make it functional again. 2 pieces have broken now, and I expect the other ratty looking ones will also.I probably should have just made my own, but I thought I'd take a shot. It did save me time and materials. So, there's that. But, I wouldn't purchase a replacement either.

Super flimsy and not very retractable because it is a hook you need to hook and unhook every time you pass through it. Those stick hooks do not have good sticking qualities. You might as use a nail and hammer. Size covers standard door size in US. I would say it is easy to use for its purpose, but may be a safety fall hazard if you try and jump over it.

Not a bad idea, but not very well executed. The elastic straps came off after only 3 or 4 uses. They weren’t sewn on very well. Good thing I was able to reattach them. Otherwise I would have returned this item. Don’t buy if you’re not resourceful enough to reattach the straps which "will" come off.

So I bought this baby gate… it was too big for the door and the idea is cool BUT the hooks given to hold gate up were cheaply made and the sticky part on back didn’t hold properly -I RETURNED it and then one day out of nowhere with no report Amazon takes $10 out of my account claiming I never returned it.. but I did! They tell me to take it up with the seller… are you serious?!?! So I will NOT support companies that take money from you even after returning.They have done this with 2 items … I will be calling back once I find return receipts that I was given from the return - such bad business conduct on this part.Inform your customers if you claim to not have gotten return yet so can present receipt immediately vs have to dig and find and Hope not thrown.. people KEEP YOUR RETURN RECEIPTS!!!

UPDATE BASED ON EXCELLENT RESPONSE TIME AND THE OFFER TO REFUND MY PURCHASE:This new store reading is based solely on the excellent and very appropriate response to my review. The seller offered to fully refund my purchase. More importantly, they seemed to truly listen to the specifics of my complaint. I hope this will help them to further improve their product in the future and I wish them success in doing soFlimsy. It’s my own fault; “you get what you pay for. The mesh is fine but the rods that are meant to provide stability are so wonky and the mesh channels so narrow that i struggled to get them to stay in place. Lastly, the were enough plastic “hooks” to secure to the wall, but they wouldn’t hold the screen in place.Results: I should have spent an extra $10 to get a sturdier and simpler solution.

The gate’s loops that fit on the hooks are hot fire garbage. They literally broke the first day. The sew job was awful. Don’t waste your money.
