I probably should have gone for the shorter one, as this lines up with the metal frame of my window and partially blocks my cat's view of the backyard. Doesn't seem to bother her though. Typical cat - laying where and on things she shouldn't - so I bought this to get her off my fabric bins in my work room. She adores this tree and rolls all over it; I usually find her sleeping on it. Shes not on my stuff anymore. She's a chunky girl and this tree has no problem with her jumping antics. My other cat is not very interested but I think that is more about territorial issues than the tree itself; they seem to have split the house in half so I may buy another for my other girl for her side. Great value and 10 minutes or less to assemble.

Difficult to put together, unstable, and the top piece collapsed after the kitten tried jumping off of it. This thing didn't even last us a week.

Not great as the rope comes off very easily and it shreds very easily also. I will need to purchase something that it's more durable for my cats. Not very happy with the product.
