fragile but works
I managed to sheer the regulator assembly, on my Clarke Ranger compressor, by touching it. I'd had a moisture trap, heavy, hanging off that outport port for years and I suspect the thin, fragile metal (if you can call it that) just gave up.I ordered this part and some liquid PTFE from Screwfix.I managed to break the original bit further in dismantling, but thankfully it was already toast. You will need to disconnect all the wiring (very easy) and remember the orientation of what goes where, then you WILL need some heat to remove all the regulator ancillaries. If you try to undo them cold, then they WILL snap. There is also a narrow pipe from tank to regulator which needs to be removed and then you can undo the large joint from the tank and throw the broken bit away.Use plenty of liquid PTFE on every new joint - do NOT attempt to overtighten anything. You cannot assemble all the ancillaries, like relief valves or outputs, as you need clearance to turn the thing. Once the regulator is on and the electrics reconnected, add all the guages, outputs and relief valve nice and gently with lots of PTFE - it doesn't need to be super tight.Leave for a bit for the PTFE to go off and test. While this part is fragile, it isn't any more fragile than the original which lasted me several years. It was also a direct fit.

Be careful!
Bought this after breaking the original on my 24l Aldi compressor. Weak metal but it fits fine. I used liquid ptfe and screwed fittings in hand tight and it held pressure overnight. I think i broke the original because I used ptfe tape, it split the outlet wide open. I suspect this will break under similar conditions but it's good for the price if you leave it alone!

Easy to use and can control the flow of air.

Cheap material do not buy
This product is made using very cheap metal which broke extremely easily when the other parts were added, I added the air pressure valve only hand tight then snugged it up literally a fraction and it split the metal meaning it was then fit for the bin.

Good value and works well
This actually had a regulator unlike another one bought through eBay and I had to get a refund. I didn't risk tightening up any fittings too much but used thread sealant liquid from Screwfix for about a fiver which worked well. I had to remake some of the compressor pipes due to some other fittings being slightly different and old gas cooker pipes were 8mm outside diameter so these fitted snugly over my 6mm pipes and inside the 10mm pipes with a little of the sealant and all was airtight up to the maximum pressure of 120psi.

bit flimsy
The pressure control seems to work just fine but the whole thing is a bit flimsy. its a cast alloy of some description and very weak. Don't try to tighten pipe connectors too much. It comes under the usual quality warning of "Made in China"
