Actually bought 2 smaller size by mistake, but love them.Small enough for travel.New base attachment better than the one replaced, which had come separated from the bottle.

I like the Aarke system quite a bit. It comes with only one bottle, so you really need the extra one.I also like the bottle shape and material. They are date stamped - to make sure you replace them.I rinse by hand with room temp water, using soap & bottle brush occasionally.But mine separated as others have pointed out - at both the cap and the base. The function is unaffected, but with such a nice design on everything else, you would expect them to have used the right adhesive.I chose Gorilla Glue, figuring it might have a little give. I suspect the issue is connected to constant expansion and contraction with cold and heat between the metal and the plastic - both of which do so at different rates.Let the mansplaining stop here. It seems to have worked.Bottle probably should not have to cost $20.00.Good quality bottle itself. Just be prepared to do a quick home repair.December 2023 update: Aarke seems to have modified the assembly and the bottle seems to stay together better. Still too pricey. I have the smaller bottles, too now, and they are handy for transport/to-go.Seeing the pro model available which uses the glass bottles, I would prefer that system to the standard. I love the glass bottle. That being said the standard carbonator is great looking, works well and still satisfies.January 2004.I am thinking the product is fine, but the transaction and the expiration date are not satisfactory.Price seemed all over the place.Listed as a single 2-pack kit.Showing $32 now, but $49 when I ordered (I guess this can happen).Received 1/2004 - expiration is 4/24 (3 months from now!!).Shipped from UK, I think.Not used, but I think the box had been opened because the plastic around the bottle was torn.The bottles appeared to have the updated design to address the separation issue.I just purchased the smaller size through Amazon (may not have been the same seller?) and they were fine with a two-year expiration date.I guess I should return these.

This purchase was to replace the original bottle that came with my Aarke carbonator, that reached its expiration date. The first replacement only had 6 months left before expiration, so I sent it back. This one has nearly 2 years before expiry. I like the new design slightly taller, fits well. And a small price to pay to be safe.

Die Entscheidung für die Verwendung eines Wassersprudlers statt Kauf befüllter Flaschen bedeutet auch die sehr wichtige Entscheidung für die alltägliche Nutzung eines festgelegten Flaschen-Designs. Die Flaschen für die Aarke-Wassersprudler überzeugen durch ihr zeitlos edles Design, mit dem sie sich gut in jede Umgebung einpassen. Mit den Edelstahl-Anteilen sind die Flaschen sehr standfest und bieten eine gute Haptik beim Öffnen und schließen. Mit dem entsprechenden Mehrgewicht wirken sie deshalb wie Glasflaschen. Gewinde und Verschlussdeckel wirken sehr robust, und sie verschließen ohne Kraftaufwand sehr gut. Die Flaschen sind nicht für die Spülmaschine geeignet, sie bedürfen allerdings auch nicht der ständigen Reinigung nach jedem Gebrauch, wenn sie nur zum Gießen und nicht zum direkten Trinken "aus der Flasche" gebraucht werden. Die relativ große Öffnung ermöglicht ein zügiges Eingießen in ein Trinkgefäß, so dass auf das Trinken aus der Flasche leicht verzichtet werden kann.Letztenendes war das Design dieser Flaschen für uns ausschlaggebend, uns für den Wassersprudler des Herstellers Aarke zu entscheiden. Wir sind mit der Entscheidung für diese Kombination sehr zufrieden!
