COCO COIR BRICKS are made from peat-free compressed coconut fibre, a renewable resource produced from organically grown coconut trees. Each brick measures approximately 200 x 100 x 50mm. When water is added the brick will expand to give approximately 9 litres of coir fibre. Coir fibre is one of the best growing mediums for seeds, seedlings, cuttings, a whole range of plants and as a base for home made compost. Mix with compost or just use neat. It also provides a base for hanging baskets. Coir fibre is also the perfect bedding for reptiles, worms and snails. 100% natural coconut fibre sustainable alternative to peat with excellent water retention, air porosity and drainage. Coir enables plants to develop stronger root systems making them more resistant to disease How to use Place the coir brick into a large bucket and add 3 litres of water. Leave for 30 minutes and the brick will expand to approximately 8-10 times its original size as it soaks up the water. Break up and crumble any lumps with your fingers and it’s ready to use. .

Exactly as described in the ad. Be careful how much you use. It is deceiving as will yield MUCH more than you realise. Only cut/break off what you intend to use. You can always break off more so take it slowly to build up to the quantity you desire in your soil
