The amount of fibre is just enough for a very small pillow. The kapok itself is OK, however it was treated with some kind of fragrance and because of that might not be very much of use for an allergic person unless aerated for longer time.

This is a very good product. I used it for knitted toys and it is very easy to work with, is odourless and feels great.

It is as soft as silk , it does not leave the stuffed item lumpy, it is also very light. It is a beautiful product. My only reservation about it is the way the fluff goes everywhere when you are stuffing things , up your nose and sticks to your cloths, this is slightly off putting and really stuffing your items outside seems the best method , but of course that is weather dependent .

Made a cushion out of old bedding with this lovely soft material, I’ve still got some left too and I’ll definitely buy again.

I have looked at the kapok exactly what I wanted I will use it for packing a toy which I have just started making. The toy is Micky Mouse.

I bought the product to put inside a pillow. As others have said, the product is super soft to the touch. But what I found was when it's stuffed inside a pillow it compacts to become uncomfortably firm and it's not malleable, i.e. you can't shake it or plump it to redistribute the stuffing.It's also quite messy although not as messy as feathers.
