Umbra Pinnacle Toilet Paper Holder and Stand, TP Dispenser, Silver

Allow me to begin by saying I am an Umbra fan. I find the company offers a veritable plethora of clever, modern and clean designs. This one, however, is an epic fail. There is nothing, not a piece, not a dip nor a loop to hold the toilet paper roll on the device so it flies off the holder on the regular. I’m surprised I haven’t picked up a medical condition from using the paper off the floor several times a day. My point is, don’t buy this poorly designed contraption.

This is absolutely as advertised: Sturdy. Heavy. Well made. Brushed nickel finish looks very good. The needed "small footbrpint" for my bathroom. I'd rather have a toilet tissue holder on a wall; but lacking a place for that, I don't think I could have done better in choosing a free-standing holder. It lives up to its promises. UPDATE: Everything I said still stands but... There really is nothing to keep the paper on the holder. Nothing I have ever devised myself keeps the roll on the hoider. Nothing. I must remember always to use one hand to keep the roll on the holder and the other hand to ever so gently and carefully roll down the needed paper.

I mean its not soft but I dont want to slam the product. It was super easy to assemble (Haha) just take it out of the box. The reason for the four stars is that it arrived with the base dented in several spots. Where I am placing it the dents are not visible but I was kind of upset about that. Nonetheless I am not returning it because its not visible from I placed it but maybe a tip to the manufacturer to package better.

This looks great, works fine. As with others though, the packaging was BAD, bubble wrap that started out around it was all wadded up in one place, and the bottom/base arrived with several small dents in it. As with others, I've turned it so the dents don't show. Not worth the fuss of returning (the dents ARE small). It would get five stars if it were packed correctly.

Beautiful clean lines, excellent quality, nice heavy base for stability. My only concern is the little tip up at the end could stand to be a little bigger/deeper as it’s a little too easy to knock the roll off when dispensing or walking past. Overall though we’re pretty happy with it. 🙂

It’s sleek, gorgeous and minimalistic. The bottom is weighted very nicely. You can definitely grab and rip the toilet paper with one hand, which makes this even better. It was well worth the $35.

I loved how this looked when I purchased it in April, but just after 3 months it started to get rusty. Doesn't worth the amount I paid.I would have expected from this company better quality. Very disappointing.

I love the design, but mine arrived damaged. I hope to be able to get a non-damaged replacement.

This is definitely a Five Star product but, docked one star as, the heavy base was dented in transit from Germany, via DHL, despite the huge amount of 'Air Pillows' packing in the large cardboard box - must have been dropped on a corner! Decided to keep it as, too much fuss to send it back & request a replacement. Delighted with the gorgeous design and appearance in use in our En-Suite, not seen anything as neat & lovely in any local UK Bathroom showrooms, it is so smooth & perfect height to reach from the WC, takes up hardly any floorspace, functional & the toilet roll does not fall off as the top is flat (not round) with a gentle upturn at it's tip. I would thoroughly recommend this product to anyone who appreciates pure simple design!

This item is wobbly but looks great if you don't use it. The seller does not want to hear this & will not respond. 5 months on and I'm still chasing my refund for returned item. Item is therefore very useful for getting rid of unwanted funds but little else.

Really great. It looks lovely, is really solid and feels good. We hadn't got room in our new bathroom for a wall mounted toilet roll holder so needed something beside the toilet. It's not that steady which I was worried about but if we knock it it wobbles but seems to steady itself before falling over. If we had children I'm not sure how it would be, it may have gone over many more times - and it's inbetween toilet and shower screen so that would definitely make me nervous as it's such a heavy item I think it would crack it! But it's exactly what we were after and definitely feels nice and expensive and looks great in brushed stainless steel. The bottom has felt on it so it doesn't scratch the new tiles either.

The weighted base makes this stable and the footprint is neat enough to fit in a small space. Sadly the base was dented on arrival, despite being cocooned in bubble wrap, but we just turned that side to the wall rather than return. It is very similar to a previous stand and we don’t expect it to last forever, eventually becoming spotted with rust, but the price is low enough to make this reasonable value. Update: Nov 21, 5 months later and we are now looking for an alternative that will not rust, as this one has done so already. Such a shame as the design is perfect but the materials let it down.

The toilet holder base arrived damaged slightly, as packing ridiculous.When you actually stood it up the pole was lopsided, so it looked drunk. Such a shame as I needed a small base to fit in space between caravan toilet and wall.To do Amazon justice, they refunded me straight away once I returned it, BUT shoddy welding of base and pole by maker, although material itself was good quality. Definitely would NOT buy again, as I see other buyers say exactly same about packaging and damage and bad design...
