Sugar alcohols (maltitol syrup and sorbitol - sugar substitutes) are slowly metabolized carbohydrates that generally cause only a small rise in blood glucose levels.
Ingredients
Maltitol syrup, enriched wheat flour (flour, niacin, ferrous sulfate, thiamin mononitrate, riboflavin and folic acid), sorbitol, cornstarch, contains 2% or less of: palm oil (adds a negligible amount of saturated fat), salt, artificial flavor, citric acid, glycerin, artificial color (red 40), potassium sorbate (preservative), sodium carbonate, acesulfame potassium, mineral oil, soy lecithin

Go full sugar or Red vines instead
Not as tasty as I would have hoped, I wouldn't eat too many either as the sugar replacements has slightly nasty side effects....

I loved red Spanish as a child but developed diabetes so all my treats stopped. This sugar free confectionary tastes just like the real thing. I loved it.

RIP OFF!!!
AVOID - This is a complete rip off: £8.+ for the goods is grossly overpriced. on top of this was £P&P at £7 + and then VAT WAS ADDED. Altogether 6 of these tiny bags cost £35.00!!! a VERY COSTLY GIFT FOR A diabetic friend with such little to show for the money.. NEVER AGAIN.
