GamoSwarm Viper 10X GEN3i .22 Cal. 10 Pellet Multi-Shot Inertia Fed Pellet Air Rifle

I had been eyeing a Gamo for quite some time, so after doing a little research, and watching a bunch of videos, I decided on the "Swarm Viper 10X GEN3i .22 Cal". This was the perfect choice for my purpose (varmints). When I received the rifle, I unpacked it and followed the instructions to mount the scope (all pretty typical). After familiarizing myself with the mechanics of the Gamo, I took the rifle out for sighting-in, and set up a target at 25 yards. I was amazed - "right out of the box" - the very first shot on the paper (which is often somewhat unpredictable) was within 1 inch of the bullseye targeted. After the initial shot, I made a minor (very minor) scope adjustment, and the rifle produced a 9 shot grouping of about 1 inch. I have sighted in many rifle's, of many different calibers, over the years, but I will have to say, I have never had that kind of results - "right out of the box". Kudos to Gamo !

Lookin' good. Rifle arrived on sschedule but there was a broken part for the feed system, so I had to wait for that to arrive from the factory. Added a week or so to the "delivery" schedule. Got it changed the next day and have had fun ever since. Well, kind of, that is. Winter arrived all too soon and I've no desire to be wandering out in the snow and twenty below temps playing with steel and oil toys.. So far, all efforts to make it work have been successful. Wish me luck ;).

I read many reviews on this weapon stating isn’t accurate, can’t sight it in , its to heavy for my arms and so loud. Accurate it is if you take time and fire 50 to 75 rounds of the ammunition you will use in it everyday to sight in. You can’t swap different ammunitions thinking you will hit your target accurately when shooting... The secret ammunition to use is the Gamo Red Fire.! Lights out accurate from 60’ to 120’ once you do your part and sight the weapon in! I hear i can’t sight it in cause the scope is bad! Wrong!!! The scope is great at this price point. Learn how to sight it in! The rifle is not loud perfect for pest control and plunking around in backyard. I was very worried bout this but the weapon is quiet no complaints from neighbors. It’s the report from hitting my target that’s louder !! Yes the weapon is 12 lbs but it makes for a more accurate shot on target. The lighter weapons you can see your breathing and is harder to line up your shot. I feel the bad reviews are from people that don’t know how to use this product, this weapon is amazing and highly recommend it .

When I got the air rifle, it was delivered and the box was soak and wet. I took it out of the box and mounted the scope. The scope was very cheep and blurry. I could not get the rifle to shoot any type of groups. I had flyers every other shot. Thinking it may just be the poor scope I bought a new scope. I mounted the new scope and still could not shoot groups. Thanks to Amazon they took care of me. I don’t recommend buying this air rifle!

After a month and hundreds of pellets this gun is shooting very well at 15-35 yds. Scope is holding up so far but downrange focus is a bit fuzzy so I've ordered a UTG Bugbuster on recomendation from a buddy who use to shoot pro competition. GAMO redfire's and Rockets group well but are expensive for backyard shooting so I am shooting Crossman premier hp's and getting good groups.Was disappointed with the way the gun came with the GAMO box ripped open and styrofoam packing broken up. Pretty obvious it was a returned item but even tough the add said ships from Amazon I have my doubts. Also the green mag hold down clip was broken and wouldn't function so GAMO sent me one with instructions. Easy fix.Amazon did make everything right and all is well, no complaints.

No complaints here whatsoever! Accurate, fine workmanship, quiet, and comfortable to carry and fire. The scope may not be the best but it was a FREEBIE after all. I like the .22 caliber which packs a good punch.

Very well made and easy to follow instruction booklet , BUT as far as quiet, it's not. I thought it would be much quieter, maybe the .177 one is quierter than the 22 that i got, but it's still awesome and very well built and i like it a lot

I have never write any review for anything that I have bought online, but this item I have a must to write about it.I never own and shoot any gun before, but when I received this gun last weekend and I get excited and joys over this. I put the in the pellets to start to fire the group shots and it's almost near the bullseyes. After a few clicks on the scopes and it's sight on. Put another groups shot and it's was on bullseyes!!! at 30yrds.Very impressive and having a blast with this gun over July 4th weekend.Highly recommend for a beginner like me!
