Trying to make socks with 5 needles just a nightmare especially as they are in Fair Isle. Had these needles recommended by a friend in Iceland. They are brilliant. Checked them out on YouTube who mentioned knitting about 3 inches before you decide if you like them. Didn't need that long, they are great. Work is held on 2 needles (instead of 4) then use the third to work with. They have two different types of points, a regular or a lace, on either end of the needles. This allows you to choose which works best for the knitting and yarn you are using. Will be so useful for knitting mittens next. They were dispatched from the UK and arrived well before the date advised. But as they are small were delivered by our Postman directly through the letterbox, a great surprise on arriving home. I learnt to knit socks during lockdown and have been using 5 DPN's but often found that stitches dropped off the end of the needle, or the whole needle dropped out, so thought I would give these a go. The first few rounds were normally a bit tricky because I knit toe up, but these needles made it much simpler. The whole sock is knitting up way quicker than before too. It took a little bit of trial and error to get into a comfortable way of holding them, but then so did the DPN's initially. I love them, so hopefully able to make more socks for paramedics in the future

Excellent product - my only gripe: Wish they were a little longer in length to be perfect! The length they are means you can only use them for very small diameter projects, and sometimes there is still a gap for some projects less than 40cm in diameter, and unsuitable for circular needles. I have all the other sizes - this was the only size I did not have… for some jobs, they are the only product that can do the job without the awkwardness of the old 3 or 4 straight needles my mum used…

These needles are good for small circumference items like sleeves. A little tricky so perseverance is needed but worth the effort to finish off my sleeves

Ideal needles for knitting socks. Lovely to use. Will be buying more in other sizes.

CrasyTrios are a simple to work with alternative to using very small Circular or set of 4/5 Double Pointed Needles, great for knitting small circular items like socks or gloves. You simply knit across one needle, then turn and knit along the other. No seams to sew up, no getting in a fankle with dpns sticking out in all directions! Very easy to use.

I'm sorry but I really cannot get on with these needles - I have tried to follow the instructions with stitches on two of the needles and knitting with the third, but found this practically impossible. I found the needles too short and very difficult to manipulate - I would certainly not feel able to recommend them, for me they have been a rather expensive mistake although they do make excellent cable needles..................

Ces petites aiguilles sont beaucoup plus maniables, plus pratiques, et nettement plus confortables que des aiguilles à chaussettes classiques, le top 👍.

Cercavo un prodotto per le piccole circonferenze che sostituisse il gioco di ferri. Niente da dire per qualità ma purtroppo ho dovuto restituirli avendo mani grandi e perciò per me impossibile lavorarci. Peccato!

Je les attendais avec impatience. En complément de mes mini aiguilles circulaires Chiaogoo, pour faire les pointes de mes chaussettes. Je suis incapable de tricoter avec des aiguilles droites double pointes, avec ces Addi, plus de perte de mailles, et plus mal aux doigts ni aux mains.

Love these needles. I’ve knitted a couple pairs of socks on them and don’t plan to go back to DPNs, although I am very comfortable with them, too. The joins are smooth, and I like the fact that the needles aren’t too pointy. (If you like pointy needles, the hiya-hiya’s are also very nice.) I’ve seen people complain about still needing a fourth needle for the gusset because they split the stitches in half with one needle having the right side of the sock and the other the left, requiring markers to keep track of decreases. I did the top of the foot on one needle and the bottom and gussets on the other and that worked very well. Stitches were crowded until I had decreased a few times, but not so much that they fell off the needles.
