Perfect tongs for me
My perfect tongs for use in the kitchen, especially in non-stick pans. The heads are covered with a hard plastic/silicone substance which doesn't scratch up a pan. Unlike some coated tongs, these have completely firm heads, so there's no danger of having the tong head give way when you pick up something a little bit heavy. Also, these tongs are small enough to live in my utensil drawer. The lock is easy to engage and disengage.I had another pair of these, and after about 3 years of use, the plastic covering on the heads had started fraying. I wish that didn't happen, but I am willing enough to buy them again and get another 3+ years of use.

Discrepancy in description and product - deceptive
The description of this item states it is made of German stainless steel but in the comparison below the item with other items shows material stainless on other items and a dash on this item. I called about the item and I was sent another item because the first tong was magnet (not stainless steel). I was sent a replacement item exactly the same as the first. The description of this item is not correct and deceptive. In the packaging I received there is not mention of the Life Time Warranty as shown in the description of the item. I would not purchase this item.

Rubber peeled off after one use 😣
The rubber tips peeled off on strips after the first wasbhing! I'm very disappointed because the tongs are nice. I wonder if the rubber got into the food?Too bad.up in

Love these, but the the rubber coating is a little slick when trying to pick up meat in a non-stick pan, overall good buy though.

Its performance has been up to expectations. However the silicone parts look stained after just a month of use. It looks much older that it is.
