How long would I run this in a 215 square feet room to get rid of pet smell?

I bought mine to clear a musty smell from a vintage chair, one run and it sorted the issue. We find ozone is fantastic for clearing room smells, perfume, cigars and clearing between guest stays. Everything just smells fresh.

why should it be used in unoccupied spaces?

Because ozone can damage your lungs.

Does this get rid of cigarette smoke smell

Used this to try and get rid of the smell in a car from a previous heavy smoker. Did 3 or 4 treatments - significant improvement right away and then with further treatments. Alongside this the car was given a deep clean - shampooed carpets, cleaned headlinings, every nook and cranny I could get at, under seats etc.etc. Combined, this has pretty much eliminated it - I still think there's a faint residual smell - but then I'm 'looking for it' if you know what I mean - and it's now a pleasant space to sit in again. Cleaning alone, no matter how comprehensive, and any of the other so called remedies (Vinegar, Bicarb, etc etc) did not sort it. The generator was the main difference. Goes without saying it needs using very carefully to ensure no exposure to people/animals.
