Q: Is this knife dishwasher safe?

yes, all my victorinox knives go in the dishwasher but mostly I prefer to hand wash

Q: How is this knife for penetrating sourdough crust? Mine skidded off the crust this week causing a nasty cut to my forefinger.

I am very happy with this knife, it cuts sourdough crust easily. Use it as a "saw", you don't need to use a lot of force.

Q: Can you please tell me what's the difference between this knife (6.8633.22G) and the pastry knife (5.2933.26) ? Thank you

Sorry I don't know, I use it for slicing sourdough bread.
