I needed to replace a blown speaker in the door of my old Dodge van. I replace both. These fit perfectly and sound great. The only issue was deciding which wire was + and which was -. So I experimented and it makes a big difference to the quality of sound so if you are not sure, experiment. Great value, great sound.

It's been a week now since I replaced the rear deck 6x9s in my 2008 Chevy Cobalt with these Recoil Audio 6x9s and I'm extremely pleased with the sound quality and depth they have. Next week I'm pulling them out and to lay down some Dynamat to reduce vibration when bass notes hit. Great speakers, great price, for a budget builds, I definitely recommend Recoil Audio! Update: Sept. 23, 2024. I have now had the 6.5 coaxials installed for over a month and I have to say as replacements for my factory speakers in my Cobalt I'm very impressed with these. I installed dynamat on my doors when putting in the 6.5's and even with no amplifier they hit pretty deep and sound really nice I'm very impressed with these speakers as factory replacements. Together with the 6x9's I'm very pleased with how my factory stereo sounds now.

6x9 speakers perform better than I was expecting for the price point. WILL BUY AGIAN!

I used to be a car audio installer, and have to say these sound great! Magnates are huge on these tho so if you're putting them in a door application you might have to use spacers so they dont hit the window , for the price , you won't be disappointed
