Very sturdy and easy to get on.
It fits snuggly on my boy. I have a 65 lb male american pitbully, who is 18 months old. He is aggressive with my cats and other male dogs. Also, chews my walls and furniture when left alone. So, he has to be caged when I'm at work. This muzzle allows him to stay in the kitchen without being caged and the cats can be safe too.At first he was upset and tried to get it off, but once he realized it was not coming off, he settled. I introduced it to him on the first day by allowing him to sniff it only. The second day, I put it on and took it off as soon as he settled down, it was only 2 or three minutes. I gave him lots of treats after taking it off. Third day left it on for 5 to 10 minutes again giving him lots of love while he settled and treats after taking it off. Fourth day 20 minutes, etc. You get the process. Now he is wears it no problem. Took about a week to get him to be ok with wearing it. I like how he can pant and drink water with this muzzle. The cage is just wide enough that I can give him small treats while he is wearing it, but I prefer not to because if he drops the treat, it drives him a bit crazy because he can not get it into his mouth or it gets lost in the cage. Great product. I was a bit worried about it being a metal cage, but it really works well and allows him to drink water comfortably. The straps are padded on the nose and fit snuggly around his ears, so I have not found any rubbing or chaffing. I'm just glad I can take him for walks and he can be left home not locked up in a cage all day. Thank you!!!

It did the job!
So my somewhat excitable and a little at times reactive pitbull scared my new neighbors when she lunged and barked at them. This was our compromise until everyone was comfortable with her. She didn’t mind it at all and the fit was good. She is only 50 pounds. The snout part was a bit long for her and at times it would go up to her eyes but we managed to work through that. She wore it no problem and it didn’t slip off at all. I recommend this. If the snout would have been a little more narrow I’d have given it 5 stars.

Perfect for large dog breeds!
I have an American Bully who is very reactive with other dogs, this one is good because has cushioning on it and it is wide enough that it doesn't squeeze his jaw and make it more difficult for him to breath!

Not true to size
Does not fit dogs that have small snouts or small faces or jaws. Do not recommend for pitbull terriers. Also, securing this on dog face with the way that is made does not work!

Way too big for our blue nose pitbull.
It's an alright muzzle. Tricky to adjust. We thought it was on right and tight enough but she put her head down and it fell right off. She just stared at it on the floor. We sent it back the next day.

A Muzzle that will save your dog's life, your life and everyone else! Must read!!
This is the best muzzle and it stayed on during a dog fight. Please read below;Someone dumped two Saint Bernard puppies our street. One made its way to my neighbor and the other to me. I immediately potty trained her, taught her the basics and how to ring the bell and turn the light on. She picked up right away, of course with the help of her brother and yellow lab.She still forages when we walk. Once she ate a vape cigarette at the park. She collapsed and nearly died at the park. I immediately took her to her to closest veterinary hospital and they saved her life.My puppy is 9 months old and weighs 110 pounds. Indeed, she is a handful and is still mouthing. She does nip. However, she started to suddenly snap and bites her brother. I took her to the Vet who said that she is trying to be dominant but reviewing my home cameras I realized that she snaps for no reason. I showed the video recording to her Veterinary Doctor who recommended to see a Veterinary doctor specialized in Canine Behavior and Psychology. He put her on prozac and said that there are dogs who have a mental disorder where their brain is wired that way. He suggest the basket Muzzle. She did training and is currently under the supervision and has personal training sessions with a well known trainer who also agreed with the Vet. She did bite her brother, a Labrador, who ended up with life threatening wounds and my husband got 16 stitches on his arm.I tried every muzzle, literally every muzzle but she was able to get them off with her paws or chew them out. This is the only Muzzle that stays on and she is unable to get it off with her big paws, shake her head out of it or chew it out.Recently, my husband had the crazy idea to take her to the dog park. She had this muzzle on. Suddenly, she ended up getting in a vicious fight with a Pitbull. The Pitbull didn't have a muzzle on but she did. We were able to separate them, but the Pitbull wouldn't let go of her and bit her badly. I was furious with the owner of the Pitbull because he didn't do anything to separate his dog, as other people had to intervene. We ended up calling the cops and the owner of the Pitbull has to pay for my dog's medical bills as his dog injured my dog while my dog didn't do anything during the fight because my dog had a muzzle on.To get to the point. This muzzle is extraordinary, especially for big dogs. It really does prevent bites, foraging and other unwanted behaviors. Besides, if your dog ends up in a fight they are safe because they didn't bite a human as if they did they'd be euthanized. In my opinion the muzzle is recommended so people don't accuse you of injuring them as your dog is muzzled. She is always wearing this muzzle until she learns boundaries and limitations. As a puppy I can't expect too much of her but what I can do is keeping her and everyone else safe. She wears a muzzle when she's with children, seniors and friends who fall when she leans on them. She wears a muzzle when she's at the beach so she doesn't bite on surfboards, ropes, towels and mostly, so she won't carry those 50 pounds kettlebells and run around with them. She wears a muzzle so she isn't able to climb our pepper tree and jump to the neighbors roof chasing the squirrel. I have so many examples of how this muzzle has saved us, her and the public. Trust me when I tell you that this muzzle is truly a life saver. This muzzle has been approved by my Veterinary Doctor, Veterinary Behavioral Doctor and the trainer.

Good choice
My dog had issues with killing chickens and this has and a difference. I did not have to end up restricting his run area. We recently had to drain and infected lesion and the muzzle made it a much more safe procedure.Easy to adjust, he can still drink water, strong long lasting material, and so far he has not had any blisters or areas that rubbings has removed any hair. For us and our particular dog, it was an excellent choice.
