Despite not having an internal claw, it holds the hair well (I have little hair and it's very thin), and that's very good. Not to mention they are beautiful.I loved it!

Pretty, but difficult to use; to open. Not happy with that.

They are great very sturdy just to small for thickness of my hair! Returning. Would be great for thin hair or a girls hair.

I didn't buy these for hair specifically, but rather as a limiter for a chain-link training collar for my dog. I use it to keep the collar from slipping down his neck. The teeth fit through the links in the chain, while the whole clip is too big to fit through the loop at the end of the chain. The spring is strong. I have been using one clip for several weeks. No sign of wear at all, such as rusting or bending of teeth, and the spring is in great shape. I would feel comfortable wearing these in wet hair or while swimming.

I was surprised at the quality of these little hair clips. Originally I assumed they would be at the lower end (because the price is cheap!), but I was wrong. I got a a packaged of 24 pieces which allowed me to give some away to my friends. They all love these hair clips. Great hair accessories!

These tiny hair clips are beautiful and seem very well made EXCEPT that the teeth are not arranged in a way that the clips will stay in fine hair. I'm not going to bother to return, since they were inexpensive, but if you have fine hair, these are not for you.
