Don't get me wrong, I really like this product. But being subjective, I have to knock off 1 star for one reason, the blue top!Doesn't sound like much of a reason, but to me it is. The "Blue" top gives a strong refection back from the windscreen above in day light.Everything else about it works as expected and on a functional basis it works and provides a good level of knowledge of actual running tire pressures/temperatures.The alarm works, I retested the system two months after installation by slowly removing each of the pressure caps and in turn the dash control panel sounded an alert for each wheel.PS. Tip, use a small amount of dielectric grease for assembly to help prevent corrosion.10 months on I have just bought a second unit for my other car.It's now 2 years since I bought the first unit, to date I have had two faults to deal with, 1 - the "O" ring that seals to the tyre valve had to be replaced on one of the tyre senders and 2 -one of the senders has totally failed, not just the battery, the tyre sender had to be replaced.Now the second unit I bought was totally replaced under warrenty, thank you. But in just over twelve months one of the tyre senders has failed , again not just the battery but the unit had to be replaced.Don't get me wrong, I can live with the senders being + or - 1.5 psi from the real pressure. an "o" ring needing to be replaced is ware and tear. but units totally failing come on is that just poor quality? I know the units on the tyres are subjuct to enormous stress during rotation at high speed, but should be part of the design.

Today I fitted the Vesafe tyre pressure monitor to my Ford S-max.Installation was simple, the existing tyre dust caps are replaced with the units supplied in the box which come ready set-up with a battery in each. Each pressure sensing dust cap is clearly labelled to ensure it is obvious to which tyre valve each sensor needs to be fitted.The receiver unit is small and easily placed on the dashboard using the supplied “sticky” mat. I particularly liked the fact that after initially charging via a USB lead connected into the car’s accessory socket the display incorporates a small solar panel to keep it charged so there are no trailing charging cables.Set-up was straight forward. Maximum and minimum levels for the pressure and temperatures of the front and rear tyres are set via buttons on top of the unit. Once in operation the unit warns if any of the tyres are outside of these levels by beeping and flashing the display. You can also decide between display read outs in PSI or Bar for tyre pressure and Fahrenheit or Centigrade for tyre temperature. The installation process in total took no more that 20 minutes to complete.Once installed I drove to a local garage to check the Vesafe readings against a tyre pressure gauge. The unit was spot on, agreeing accurately with the tyre gauge.Initially after installation one of the four tyre sensors was not detected, however taking note of the instructions I went for a short drive and almost immediately all four tyres were registered on the display. The display is very clear and easy to read. I was especially impressed when I discovered that after dark the display auto dims so as not to dazzle the driver at night.It has been interesting to observe how the tyre pressures increases as the tyres warm up. Knowing the tyre temperature is useful as the ambient temperature drops in winter the tyre grip reduces if tyre temperature is below 5 centigrade, unless winter spec tyres are fitted. So this unit gives a good indication of when winter tyres should be considered.Overall I consider the Vesafe tyre pressure monitor a purchase that exceeded my expectations. I was impressed with the ease of installation, the accuracy of the unit, its construction and the clarity of the instructions. A well thought out product that is a valuable aid to driving safety.

Initial installation was relatively straightforward and the product had been working ok for about a week. Now however the screen is not displaying as it should (see attached photo). The pressure monitoring still appears to be working despite not being able to see any details for the right hand side of the vehicle. Occasionally it fixes itself and appears correctly but only for a short time. I tried to contact vesafe but their website isn't the best and the only contact phone number is is China. Could be a really nice product if this can be fixed.Update: Contacted the seller through Amazon and they very quickly shipped me a new display which is working ok.

Very easy to set up. Clear colour screen, great value compared to other tyre monitors.

As a product its working fine and it is easy to instal.As for the seller..i received the item 10 days after the initial day i should reveive it.. and not only this. The item had extra charges €20 because the seller didn't pay them.

this item is really good, it was easy to fit and set up, if i take the main unit indoors with the car outside, about 30 feet away it still shows the temperature dropping, which means it is working all the time, other reviews on similar products only work when the car is moving, i like this.support team is first rate as well very helpful.it's nice to know what'shappening

Overall i am quite pleased with this purchase, however i have found myself taking it out the car on occasions to recharge it overnight, even though we have had one of the sunniest summers on record.
