Purchased for my granddaughter's 9th birthday. Her bear friend can change belts with her as she earns her next belt.

Karate Bear is cute, extra "belts" are not useful.
The bear itself is super cute. Martial Arts Uniform and black belt on the bear are fine, but the extra "belts" that come with it are not made like the black belt, they are just pieces of ribbon and short ones at that. That aren't big enough to put on the bear and come sewn to the bear's hand for some reason. If your child is going to have the bear teach a class of Barbies, the extra belts might work for that, but are no where near as nice or long as the belt it comes with and definitely won't fit the bear. That being said, the children I bought them for absolutely loved them and those details didn't seem to matter to them.

Karate Kidd
The karate teddy bear was really cute! It was used at my grandson’s promotion to Orange Belt. The size was excellent and it was cuddly. Everyone loved it!!

Do not buy
I was prepping the baby shower for my coworker at the hospital we work at. The bear was going to be included- as I was placing it on the table, the arm came off in my hand. There was no way to reattach it. Unbelievable. Absolute waste of money.
