Hello, yes this watch comes with a battery and we changed at the jewellery shop when it stopped working, after two years or so, it costed us 6 euro to replace the battery.

Can the leather strap be replaced by a metal diesel strap

I have no idea. I guess it depends on the size of the strap you want yo replace it with. Ask the seller. It is a very nice watch and the leather strap complements the watch face beautifully.

Is it a 51mm or 59mm case as conflicting reports

It is a Mega Chief watch which Diesel state has a 52mm case. I think some people (and the seller are including the crown in their measurement, which is not the correct method.

Great looking watch, was worried about it looking a bit big, but is perfect and just the look I was after - I don't have massive wrists, but equally they are not twigs either. I'm now considering the even larger Diesel watch. Watch feels quality and weight wise not too heavy, on a par with some of my smaller watches
