Overall I found this bench easy enough to assemble when following the directions, though you'll want to double check yourself to ensure you have the top pieces in the correct place to start. I also found it easier to assemble the hinges using an electric screwdriver, going slow and steady than to do so by hand, while the rest of the parts managed easily with the provided allen wrench.The storage space on top holds more than I was expecting, as far as caps, hats, gloves, and scarves. I'd say we comfortably fit about six pairs of shoes on the two level section of the bench, and fit a pair of shoes stacked next to boots in the larger section. If you stack your shoes for storage, you can fit a great number more, but for our purposes this was meant as a functional shoe bench at the entrance rather than a shoe rack in the rooms.The cats enjoy lounging across the top, and we have a sheepskin throw over it for their use, but the bench itself looks nice as it is with a darker washed look to the panels and a black stitched top. So far it's been sturdy when sat on (so far not breaking past 200lbs at a time), and doesn't feel flimsy at all.Overall I recommend this bench if you like the look of it and the price point, it's sturdy, has decent storage, and looks nice when assembled, easy enough to ensure its level by adjusting the plastic bits at each of the legs as needed.

I am very happy with the purchase. It looks better than the one in the picture. The wood looked a little reddish in the picture but it is darker brown which I like and goes better with my decor at the entrance. The pre-drilled holes were all aligned and it was easy to assemble. After you assemble it, you can adjust the pieces at the bottom so that it won’t wobble. The storage space on the top is a bonus. It opens and closes nicely. The depth of the seat may not be deep enough for some big people to sit for a long period of time. However, this is not a couch. The cushion is comfortable enough to sit down and tie your shoes.Some complained that the holes for the shelf were in the wrong place (see one of the video reviews shown on the top of this page). You can easily see that he didn’t assemble it correctly. The boot space should be on the right. He placed it on the left. That’s why he didn’t get the holes on the right side. If you follow the instructions and assemble it correctly, you shouldn’t have any issues. I would highly recommend it.

I love the look of this bench! Bought it as extra storage for the gym room at my work. Now people have a spot to rest, change their shoes, plug in phones, and for me to store extra cleaning supplies and tuck away things like our yoga ball pumps and spare equipment parts.Honestly it's kind of small but it doesn't really feel flimsy so that's the important part. Just take measurements of your space beforehand and maybe stack a few boxes to the size this product specifies so you can see it in your space first before buying. I might have instead purchased something larger had I done this, but I think it's actually good for our space.Really nice wood laminate look and the faux leather seat on top looks really nice too, and is easy to wipe clean. Especially for a gym where it needs to be disinfected.

I will say I was very excited to get this item. It is very easy to put together once you have all the matching pieces. When I received the product, unfortunately there was one piece that was not lining up at all. I wasn’t about to try to make it work for what I paid for it. I contacted the seller & they were nothing, but AMAZING!! They worked with me on getting the correct piece. I am very impressed with their customer service. The bench is very study! It’s a great addition to my home. Size fit perfectly! Overall very happy with this purchase. Would buy again.

Good, love the topper. The only complaint is that the package missed 2 tapes, but 4 tapes to tape the topper is fine.

Absolutely love to look at this would buy again and would recommend. It seems very sturdy. I put mine in my bedroom and it’s on the carpet so it does not wobble. It is the perfect size.

My roommate and I purchased this bench in a bid to get our living room more organized and feeling less like a mess with shoes scattered everywhere. After waiting a significant amount of time for delivery, we finally received it.The next day, my roommate spent a very frustrating morning trying to put it together. The instructions are... not good. Literally just a picture like "do this" with text indicating which part is which.The panels are labeled with what part they are, but are not labeled for which part is front vs. back. Sometimes the sticker is on one side, sometimes it's on the other, which led my roomie to put it together backward multiple times.And there's several spots where there's no pre-drilled holes (picture attached, supposed to be holes to get the backing onto it) or holes drilled in strange spots. The bench upholstery had guide holes drilled through the faux leather, which means eventually it's going to rip.And the veneer trim to disguise the MDF doesn't even reach the edges of the board, so there's visible white lines all around the edges, front and back. We've bought several pieces in a similar style with much higher quality and a similar price point.I live on a fixed income because I'm disabled, and I spent 90$ on this thing that doesn't look like it's going to hold up six months and will require my roommate to try and use his little drill to fit things like the backing onto it.Add in that it took me a week to figure out how to even communicate properly with the seller (which is my limitation, not theirs) and I am thoroughly frustrated with this piece.That said, the bench shown in pictures on the product page are a MUCH higher quality item than what we received and for the price point, but my roommate is exhausted and doesn't want to take the awful thing apart to ship back.I guess I'm going to try to color match the rustic wood with my art markers and see if I can disguise those raw MDF edges to the casual viewer.
