Alright with some defects.
The product is definitely a sturdy one, however the only problem is the height and weight of the product and you can't really take anywhere without your own transportation and it's very heavy the metal plate is not the best as the welding for it is very poorly done where it connects to I wouldn't pay for what I paid for the price out weights the product and to expensive.

Sturdy stand for my large laptop
I have many online video conferences and needed a way to keep my laptop in just the right position, without having to re-adjust it and find ways to get it to the right height each time I set up for an appointment. While not the most glamorous option I found, it has turned out to be the most functional. My somewhat heavy laptop (17" MacBook) remains safely in place on the plate, which has enough of a lip to keep it from slipping. I think even a larger laptop would work. Height and tilt adjustments give lots of positioning options. An added, and unexpected benefit is that my laptop no longer feels hot, no matter how long it has been running. Somehow that metal plate/platform keeps it cool. This is a very sturdy stand that would be hard to push over (wide heavy-duty tripod legs keep it stable). It's not light weight, but also is pretty easy to move around. No set-up instructions came with this, but I found none were needed. However, I would not have known what one tool hanging from a knob was, had I not read the description on given online. (It's a safety pin to insert in the support post). In all, this was a great find for a good price and exactly what I was looking for. No more complaints about finding enough boxes and books on which to perch my computer!

Heavy duty for sure. Not for the faint of heart. {No personal email from seller)
I've watched the company video a few times. The seller is recommending the heavy duty stand for applications where there will be public traffic because of safety concerns for tipping over. This is admirable because no other seller mentioned that their product was a safety hazard when clearly the spread of their legs is too narrow. This item is heavy to drag around, but i wouldn't consider the lighter one because i plan to use this to hold small PA speakers and don't want to risk an accident where someone in the audience bumps into the stand, perhaps in a stupor or while dancing or walking by and tips the speaker cabinet on their head. Not going to be a pretty sight nor an easy resolution in the courts. So, i'll bear the burden of the heavy weight in favor of safety considerations.I bought two.I'm leaving the stands unassembled. That way, although cumbersome, this is less so than carrying these to job sites already assembled.I wish the seller would have offered a cartage and storage solution without having to resort to makeshift solutions by guessing which bag to buy on Amazon. I'm storing the legs in a tripod bag separately from the platforms in a airline duffle bag. Two bags instead of two assembled stands seems more compact and convenient for storage and cartage. These stands just aren't that easy to stack in the corner of a closet or gear room. They are likely to get banged up easily with if not protected. I just don't like abusing or ruining my gear for no reason. Finally, no, i didn't yet receive my personalized email, as promised on the seller's video. I thought that was a nice touch, but it hasn't materialized yet.
