Can I use this product on it's own (without mixing it with anything)? I simply want to highlight (lighten) strands - not add any colour as such...

No, this is just a developer so you need a powder bleach to lighten. It won’t do anything on its own. It’s great with the blondor powder though.

Do you need to add a developer like 20 vol to this?

This is the developer you need to add the wella Blondor Freelights Blondor powder in a ratio of 2:1, 2 parts cream and 1 part powder. Hope this answers
