Direct sunlight only
Just bear in mind that if there isn't enough sunlight, it will not perform correctly. It does not have a way to store the power from the solar panel. Otherwise a decent piece of equipment.

Love solar powered fans
I purchased three of these fan for my large chicken coop, one for exhaust and to to blow fresh air into the coop. They worked fine in 100+ degree weather.

No power
It took two days to get the thing charged, and then only one of the two fans is working - somewhat. Barely puts out any air. It's too small to keep my outside cats cool. I'm returning it...

Whistles a very high pitch under low power..
The only reason I would not give this setup 5 stars is because there is no relay/sensor for the fans to simply not kick on until they have enough to simply run. This leaves them whistling a very high pitch noise for hours on end unless you physically turn them on and off. This means that you cannot just leave them on at your dog house or chicken house without having it drive your critters mad with the ever long whistling in the morning and evening.I will be using this in the greenhouse where it seems there will be less of a chance of hearing the whistling....But they do work well when the sun is out and the panel is well built.
