L-Glutathione 765mg with Vitamin C 500mg - Setria® Glutathione - Reduced Form Blend & Transport C-Plus® - Vitamin C - 60 Capsules

I was provided this product as a sample to review. L-Glutathione, Alpha Lipoic Acid, and Vitamin C are supplements I typically take and are included in this supplement. Yet with this particular supplement formulation and label, I find it difficult to ensure I'm taking a comparable dose to my individual supplements because I can't tell exactly how much of each specific ingredient I'm ingesting, since proprietary blends are used. The label gives the total mg out of a list of ingredients, but does not break this down further to specify the mg of each ingredient. That does not mean that it is a bad product. The contents are good.Yet transparency is lacking.This product states that it is non-GMO and cGMP, yet online, I was not able to find more concrete information on manufacturing nor on the amounts of each ingredient in the proprietary blends.I would like further product information, and a better understanding of what this product includes that would carry a price-point of 98$. This seems quite high, and the current information on Amazon does not provide transparency nor details I'd like to see that would facilitate a clear understanding the expected benefits of this over other supplements with these ingredients.

Claims to Optimize Muscle health, support gut wellness as well as being a powerful antioxidant and others. Bottle claims to be Non-GMO, gluten free, made in the USA in a GMP facility with third party testing. When taking as directed this is a 30 day supply which is how I took them and I found them easy to take with no side effects and easy to swallow.

Glutathione is something I became aware of a few years ago, but have yet to find a brand-product to stick with. This brand is on a pricey side, but I find that most good quality glutathione will be pricier. The suggested use is 2 capsules per day, and it contains 500mg of Vitamin C (as Transport C-PLUS) so far no aftertaste or negative effects, I feel great overall, but it's hard to tell if this contributes to my well being, and that is the thing with supplements, it's just hard to tell.

If you're going to charge $98 for a 30-day supply of vitamin C and glutathione, then you need to justify why your product is superior to others that are a fraction of the price. Instead, the product description focuses on general claims about the importance of glutathione and preventing oxidative stress, but it's unclear how the proprietary Setria and C-Plus blends accomplish this better than other products. The claims here are just too vague to justify the high price tag, and I personally didn't notice a difference. Perhaps you need to take it longer, but consider that you'd be spending $1,200 a year on a product that doesn't clearly explain why it's better than products that make the exact same claims for far less money.

This is the first time I am trying an L-glutathione. After trying it for a week, I have not noticed any benefits or adverse effects. Perhaps with time I will experience some benefits.I have a few concerns about this product… The bottle label indicates that the distributor of this product, N1CE Nutrition, is located in Eastvale, CA. However, no street address is given. The manufacturer is not identified, so there is no way to verify that it is cGMP-compliant as claimed. The product page indicates that a certificate of analysis is available for every batch, but no results are reported. The first two bullets on the product page refer to the benefits of L-glutamine. This is odd, because the ingredients list does not include L-glutamine. (One of three amino acids in L-glutathione is L-glutamic acid, not L-glutamine.) Therefore, the benefits of L-glutamine listed in the first two bullets of the product page are totally irrelevant to this product.When I searched for L-glutathione supplements on Amazon, it is immediately noticeable that the price of this supplement is much higher than other L-glutathione supplements. As this is only a 30 day supply, I cannot recommend this product at its current price.

I can't begin to understand the science behind it, but descriptions of the process within the body make for some pretty compelling reading. As for in action, I'm almost through the bottle, taking two capsules a day. Nothing earth shattering has occurred, but I do feel generally well. Is that because of this? That's impossible to say. What I can say for sure is that this supplement is way beyond my means, so while I wish I could continue with it and give it five stars, I simply can't.

I have been taking glutathione for almost a year now and was interested to try this version. It is easy to take with no aftertaste. I have not noticed any adverse effects or side effects.
