This meter was very useful in my canning. I felt much better about my processing rather rhanbrelying on the litmus steips.

First off, their advertisement looked great. A product that I could use accurately to read the proper PH level of the product I wished to can for long term storage. But, they did not say in their advertisement for this product that you also needed Deionized water to calibrate it before use. It must be calibrated with their solution of a verified packet of PH crystals that must be mixed with Deionized water. I never expected this, and their product should be ready for use after receiving the item. Not for me to do their job of calibration. You people need to make it ready for use, out of the package without the responsibility of the purchaser to purchase more items to accomplish this! I had to purchase Deionized water and mix their calibration packets with. I did that, and tried to calibrate the unit. But, there was another problem of course. I received 2 packets of crystals for calibration, not 3 as their instructions noted. I received 2 errors continuously, and no calibration occurred! Their instructions told me to go to step 3 with a 9.18 packet and I never got that! The unit never calibrated so it is useless to me. Their instruction suck and are not accurate to the product description. To me, it is false advertisement and I will never purchase any of their products. And by the way, I tried to calibrate this item numerous times according to their instructions and they are wrong and it does not work. Run from this product!

Great for testing ph levels. Especially in the garden. THis tool allows you to make adjustments for proper soil amendments.

I am a biologist. I have a scientific-grade pH meter in my lab. I compared their performance. This pH meter is performed just like the one for scientific purposes. I highly recommend it.

This thing is junk. It won’t calibrate with any ph buffer solution I’ve used. I tried to Calibrate to 6.86 AND 4.0 and neither worked. It just gave an error every time, which allegedly means the ph solution is not accurate. I got squirrely and used a 10 ph buffet solution and it let me calibrate to 6.86 with that, but obviously that doesn’t help since the meter is not actually calibrated. Frustrated that I spent extra money to buy this meter instead of other cheaper options and it was a total waste of money

I order a replacement because it whis missing the 9.18 buffer powder and the replacement was also missing the powder.

Would have returned this but I waited too long to try it out. No matter what I do it won’t calibrate just get error. Tried both the powder and premixed ph solutions neither worked. No troubleshooting support in 1 page manual. Would not recommend.
