My doctor got me hooked on Obagi. And I will never go back. This is hands down the best vitamin c serum. It smells amazing. It’s not thick (which means a true serum!!!) it’s so moisturizing. My skin glows with this vitamin c serum.

And it’s effective! My skin has never looked better and at 60, I started much later than I should have. But I’ve taken good care of my skin, have made a point of staying out of the sun and have used good sunscreen and moisturizers for almost 40 years, and Tretinoin for about 10, but this serum has definitely made a difference. I decided on Obagi because I use their moisturizer and love it. I do (probably too much) research before making decisions and I read more than a few comments from dermatologists who said that while the vitamin C serums can’t hurt they really don’t/can’t improve the skin. Well, I respectfully disagree, as do thousands of other users from all I’ve read. This serum absolutely changed the appearance of my skin, kicked it up a notch, makes it look brighter and more youthful.**One thing to note - I have semi-sensitive skin and I was over-using he serum in the beginning, even with the recommended drops. It was settling in the lines around my mouth and the corners of my eyes and producing dry patches. A couple drops on my forehead down between my brows, one on each cheek/around nose and use the residue on my fingers to lightly go over the other areas. I use the Obagi Serum in the mornings under moisturizer and makeup, and the Tretinoin at night (after cleansing and allowing my skin to dry for about 20-25 minutes.) Have had no problems since, only a beautifully radiant complexion!

I did notice the scent was stronger and it was a slight different color than the one I got from my Med spa but my skin is looking incredible like it did when I used the one from there and I can feel the same effects from it that I did from the other. Ex. It tingles in the morning if I had sun the day before. My face doctor told me to hold off on tretinoin for awhile and only use this and my skin looks amazing! Many compliments. I would buy it again!

This product is dark in color, which means it’s old. When you first open it, it should be a very pale and clear yellow. The older the product, the darker orange it becomes. I’m going to replace mine!

I have very sensitive, fair skin. I also have spent most of my life outdoors for work and play. Needless to say, my skin reflects my activities. I purchased this serum after talking to a dermatologist. She explained that the Vt C will help to break up the brown spot pigment and will help improve the hydration of my skin. I couldn't ever seem to find any product that would "sink into" my skin. This one does the trick! And, typically things bother my eczema-prone skin, and I have the added complexity of things breaking out my sensitive skin. But I have been so impressed with this serum because I am seeing nothing but positive results. My skin looks and feels softer and healthier. I would and do recommend this to my friends. And I will be purchasing it again when I run out. The price is up there, but a little goes a long way, so it should last you several months, making it well worth the investment, in my opinion!
