Picked this up for my Dobie who’s got a thick coat that loves to tangle if I don’t stay on top of it. The deshedding brush pulls out a surprising amount of loose hair without being rough, and the metal comb is perfect for working through any mats or tangles—especially after she’s been running around outside like a maniac.The grip is comfortable and doesn’t slip even during longer grooming sessions. It’s simple, no-frills, but it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. If your dog or cat has longer fur or tends to mat up, this set makes grooming way easier—for both of you.Not a miracle tool, but it’s dependable and well worth the price. Would definitely recommend for anyone dealing with shedding or tangled coats.

Amazing! My 1yr old working bred Aussie doesn't have his full adult coat yet as far as length. I've been brushing him daily with a wet brush, getting down to his skin. I could feel where his undercoat needed to be thinned, and thought I was getting a good deshed. When I started with the Shed Monster I was shocked at the amount of hair that came out with a partial brushing! I use it a couple of times a week and the amount of hair that I'm preventing from the floors and my bed is a game changer! I'll never be without it.

Just ordered this for my Maine Coon cat. He has a lot of fur and thankfully the big comb has been able to manage the loose stuff. I sadly cant review the smaller comb because the package only came with one of the two pieces. Thankfully I got the one I wanted and it has been great to manage his fur.Edit: Update review to 4 stars as company was willing to give a refund. I had no idea how much I needed this! My long haired cat has been brushed for maybe a total of 10 minutes and I brushed off enough fir to make another full-sized male cat. And she’s just getting started! I had been using the same brush I use for the short hairs, but I was WRONG! The only thing I wish this brush came with is a vacuum because the fir is everywhere! But it’s not on the cat, which is the point! Love this thing!

My cat is half Maine coon but 100% hairy. I have tried several brushes and combs but when I saw this one, I thought I would try again and I’m sure glad I did. I ran it through my cats belly hair and was shocked at what I saw. Unthinkable amounts of hair came out with ease. My cat threw fits because he didn’t like to get his belly brushed but the brush slid through without any pulling so it didn’t hurt him. He bites when he doesn’t like having something done but not hard and at least he was comfortable enough to have this done. Sharp enough to get through his super thick belly hair but not to cut him. Well worth the money and the risk. Definitely recommended

I have a long-haired cat who constantly struggles with mats, especially around her belly and hind legs. I’ve tried a few other grooming tools in the past, but most either pulled too hard or didn’t do much at all. This dematting tool is on a whole different level—it got out multiple stubborn mats without hurting her or making her squirm.I was able to gently work through thick patches of fur without pulling, and she actually stayed calm the entire time (which NEVER happens during grooming!). The grip is comfortable and makes it easy to maneuver even in tricky spots.If you’ve got a fluffy cat that gets knotted up easily, this is 100% worth it. It saved me a trip to the groomer, and my cat looks and feels so much better!

This brush works too good! I had no idea my dog had that much extra hair hanging on. I had to take a shower after brushing her. Her dander got to me. If you've been disappointed with brushes before, forget that with this brush. It works great! It's not hard to use either, or to clean as you go. It's a great brush.
