Overall happy with this upgrade
I've had my vacuum for a month and I'm really enjoying it. I had a Roborock 6S for four years before switching. I have LVT flooring, a thin run, a thick rug and a carpet area that all gets vacuumed.Hair: I have a German shepherd husky mix and I have long hair so it was going to be put to the test concerning hair. The first 2 times I ran it the roller got clogged by hair clumps. But it was really easy to remove, no scissors involved. Then once I was running it daily (on normal mode) it hasn't had a problem since. I am proactive and clear the roller brush once a week. But honestly not much gets stuck running it daily. I do have to empty the tank more often because there is so much hair. It also picks up the random pieces of dog food my dog puts on the floor and doesn't eat.Noise: I love that it empties itself so it isn't something I'm checking every single day. But it is SO loud when it empties. During the week this is no issue because we are at work but it took a bit on the weekends to not get startled when it happened. Otherwise the noise is very manageable. The eco mode we don't even change the volume on the tv. Normal mode we have to turn the volume up a few numbers. I've one used max once just to test it.Navigating around the apartment: It has not thrown itself off my stairs thankfully. Cords are an issue but that is a problem with any robot vacuum. Once you, burry them under the couch, or pin them to the wall it isn't an issue. I've noticed it will go over some things, like my Theragun charger. But at the same time if a door is not fully open it won't run into or push the door open. So it doesn't get all the floor every day but that is why we do it daily. It can do our entire apartment (800 sqft) on one charge. But if you have a bigger area it will clean, charge and then resume cleaning in a bit.Using the app: Take the time to make the rooms on your map so it is more useful. It might take some tweaking. Also if you have an odd shape room (not a rectangle) you can combine two areas into one. You can also add no go zones. I did that around my Peloton bike because there was no good way to tuck the cord in somewhere. You can easily make a schedule for specific days of the week. Currently you cannot schedule by rooms. Also you cannot schedule it to clean multiple time per day, you would have to manually start it the second time.Other notes: I feel like this helps with the dust so much. It also helps me not leave things on the floor, like an amazon box I need to break down. Because if there is stuff on the floor then the vacuum can't clean there. Any robot vacuum would be hard if you have a kid that leaves things everywhere or a dog with a lot of toys.Overall I'm really happy with the switch to Shark.

Works great
It's easy to set up, map your house, and get it cleaning! I set it for auto timer so it cleans at the same time every morning! One thing to check off my list!It alerts you if it gets stuck somewhere/on something (I forgot to close a door to a room I didn't want it to go in yet and it got stuck on something on the floor). Easy fix and it walks you through the process on the app. With 2 dogs, one who sheds short white hair, this machine is a game changer. It's not extremely quiet, but not loud either. The side sweeper is a nice feature too, it gets baseboards 😊If you map then change things around, just remap the house. Easy peasy. It stays charged so battery life isn't an peas.I bought this on prime days and it was a great deal.

Powerful robot
Buckle up, buttercups, this isn't a short review but it is an honest one. First, the packaging is so thorough and well designed that you could drop the box off a balcony and it would probably be okay. This box is packed better than TSA-approved luggage. Unboxing was smooth and quick - within five minutes of ripping off the tape like it owes me money, the robot was charging and almost ready to go.The robot itself is beefy. Larger than my previous Shark but it also offers better design and suction power. Remarkably quiet despite it's size and capability. The robot sucked up a ten inch long butcher's twine and didn't hesitate to continue. In fact, I'm pretty certain I heard dust bunnies bid farewell to their wives because this Spartan of a robot had arrived. The roller turns to the beat of war drums... war on dirt.Wifi setup was fast and painless, but you do need to be VERY CLOSE for the connection to register. The app is simple and allows spot cleaning, zone definition, and remote commands. For under $200 I am very pleased and will recommend this to anyone who needs a vacuum robot. The age of upright vacuums is over. Rejoice!
