Fighting Fantasy: Citadel of Chaos

The book itself is ok looking - nowhere near as striking as the books were when I played them 20 years ago and it seems they are smaller than they used to be too.Not a problem tho as it’s the adventure that matters - sadly some errors are in the book which makes me doubt the authenticity - some of the spell options are missing from the back - stamina for example - and some misprints in the paragraphs to turn to mean we have either got to a page not linked to where we were - or in once case became stuck in a loop in some passageways where going forward - going backwards - or returning to a previous point all sent us to the same paragraph over and over. Real shame

Brilliant books, remember them as a child and they're great for lockdown keeping little ones occupied taking them away from their screens, fast delivery thanks x

But the same covers as advertised. Collecting the new scholastic versions. Now they don't Match.

I have three boys aged 9, 11 and 13 and they love this series...great way to keep them entertained for a while!

Great present for family member to remind them of their childhood. Worth giving to modern day gamers, show them how it was done in the old days. NO, I am not THAT old - cheeky!!.

These are the reading equivalent of computer adventure games using the same dice based outcomes depending on choices made. Highly interactive, well written and might wean reluctant ore- and early-teens off the PS4

Love these books regardless of the edition.
