The pump was working pretty well until the base came off while pumping tire. I put a little crazy glue around the base so it’s working well again. It inflates the tire quickly. The display is bright enough to me. The size is smaller than expected. It’s easy to use. As far as portability, it’s not meant to be portable imo. Only useful as a home pump.

Having a tire Gauge on this pump is a bonus. The base is stable, and all components are excellent. I can pump pu my road bike tires in ten minutes. Also no need st stress over prada or Schrader stems as the pump has both. The pump is easy to manipulate as it is smaller, and light.

Not sure how this thing wound up so well reviewed, the one I received was completely non-functional. First, this thing is quite small, which I wasn't expecting, but was kind of nice. However, the size is the only thing it has going for it. As soon as I connected it to my shrader valve stem, it started dumping air out of the presta hole. There must not be a check valve between the 2 so until you flip the latch, it's just emptying your tire. I pumped it up to what read as 60psi and then checked it with my other pump, which read 40psi. 20lb difference? seriously? So I put it back on to try again and this time, even after flipping the latch to lock position it still just leaked air. I tried several more times to seat it on the stem in different positions but it just kept dumping air out. This thing is junk, it's going back and I'll spend more and get a trusted brand.

Easy inflation. Bonus to have a gauge attached. Lightweight and i like the foot base it's a aGreat item for the price!

Admittedly, this was partially my oversight as the product description did mention its dimensions. However, the actual size, upon receiving and using the product, felt insufficient for my needs, contributing to my mixed feelings about its overall utility and value.In terms of applications, the Hycline Bike Pump promises wide usability – from inflating bike tires across various types to balls, balloons, and other inflatables. While this versatility is appreciated, my primary concern remains with the pump’s longevity and whether it can consistently perform across these many uses over time.In summary, while the Hycline Bike Pump with Gauge offers convenience and a range of applications, its quality and size have left me somewhat underwhelmed. It works, but whether it represents a lasting investment remains to be seen. For those considering this pump, it may serve your immediate needs, but I recommend keeping expectations regarding durability and size in check.

My son got a new bike and the tires must be inflated to 30-50 psi each time he rides it. This pump with a pressure gauge does a great job to let my son know that the tires are inflated to the right psi before he takes off on his nightly excursions. Thank you for a great product at a great price.
