Undecided.
Initially I was delighted that finally someone had come up with something to hold my elbow straight ish at night so that the dreaded numbness of the hand that wakes me up repeatedly in the night could be controlled or lessened. (Trapped nerves in elbows and sleeping with arms up causes this...diagnosed by a consultant but I don't want the op...cowardice rules!)The initial problem I had with it was getting it on.....it is straightforward but fiddly to tighten the straps one handed plus the positioning of the flexible bit that actually braces is also fiddly.....it does move slightly in use. And be prepared to find that once you've put it on you have one arm out of commission and it's amazing how often you flex your elbow and don't realise you're doing it.This will remind you !The first few nights were great....but then it became rather hit and miss.I've come to the conclusion that it is the size and flexibility of the 'brace' insert that is the problem...it isn't quite big enough either width ways or in length plus it's slightly too flexible.(I have thin ish arms so it's not a size issue) The splint moves off position and even moves down the arm,not much but enough to allow an elbow flex.I have tightened it while in use but there is only so far one can go with that. This is personal opinion of course.I will continue to use it because it definitely does help.and it is not a problem sleeping with it on .I need to stress that, sleep is just fine possibly because I'm used to sleeping with a straight arm (that's how I start to sleep anyway) but it's not 100%If you think this is a harsh and personal review can I add that it's an expensive piece of kit (more so when I bought it as I see the price has now dropped) and for someone investing over £30 needs to know the negatives as well as the positives.I would like to know if replacement inserts are available....I will contact the seller and report back.Adding this a few weeks later....I've found that after a few nights use I can actually leave it off for a while until my hand starts to play at being numb again when as it has clearly soothes the situation but then reflares.Must add,it does cause a little stiffness obviously because it's doing it's job overnight but that wears off quickly. Still happy overall. And added months later...still in use, still happy, still minor whinge about insert size and it moving slightly but overall it works for me.

Didn't help me
I bought this to help with mild cubital tunnel syndrome but I found I was waking up with my arm really hurting each time I wore this so I gave up with it after a couple of weeks. It's well made, but it just wasn't for me.

Great but instructions aren't right
Sleeping much better now that I've found the correct way to use this. Instead of having the rigid splint on top of my arm, I've rotated it 90 degrees so it is along the outer edge, that way it doesn't dig in when you move. I find it works best if not too tight - it should restrict the amount I bend my arm during the night, not totally prevent it from bending. Allowing the arm to bend up to about 45 degrees also means that it can breathe and not get hot.My only complaint is with the instructions - they don't give the best way to use this.

Seemed to make things worse rather than better
I actually think this makes things worse rather than better.I get very sharp pain in my elbow (commonly called tennis elbow) and friend suggested that I try this. It is quite fiddly to get on, you have to try to close the straps with one hand and as one other review points out, once you have it on you lose the use of that arm. You will be amazed at how `useless' the arm becomes if you can't bend it. I had no trouble sleeping with it on but oh my gosh, when I awoke my arm from the elbow downwards was in agony. It was as if the pain had spread during the night. Heavy application of Ibuprofen gel to get the arm working again.I wore it for several nights and it was always the same, the pain was worse the next morning and instead of being local, sharp pain was now spreading down my arm. Much worse for having wore the support overnight.I am going to stick with anti inflammatory gels such as Ibuprofen and put the support back in the box.I also have to say that it is actually a pretty expensive piece of kit for what you get.PS I sent it back and got a full refund.

So good so far being while using for a couple of ...
So good so far being while using for a couple of weeks now. With brace on numbness in my little finger and ring finger have disappeared during the night. The brace seems to cushion the nerve instead of it being compressed on mt mattress. Therefore at last getting a good nights sleep. Took about a week to get used to although need to see what it will be like during the summer nights. But at the moment definitely thumbs up.

Quite sturdy
Sturdy item however, it tends to slide no matter how tight you wear it.

Even the NHS is impressed!
My other half uses these to ease her arms at night to stop stiffness and numbness. Showed them to her NHS specialist and they were amazed by them?!? "Where did you get these? They are much better than what we issue!"Ah well.EDIT Feb 2015 - We paid £16 each for two just before Xmas so looks like the price has gone way up.

A must product for Cubital Tunnel Syndrome
I have horrible Cubital Tunnel Syndrome. These are a must if I have to live without severe symptoms. Sleep is not best with them on, however living with minor symptoms rather than a better sleep is the best option I got. So I can manage with having less quality sleep. But given three stars since the splint is made of plastic and keeps breaking.
